Polhek - a charming countryside cottage
The Polhek Cottage is a small and cozy haven that's perfect for couples or small families seeking a peaceful getaway. Located in the scenic beauty of the Polhov Gradec Dolomites, the cottage offers respite from the fast-paced city life. Nature lovers and adventure seekers alike will find solace in the numerous hiking trails, where breathtaking views await at every corner. Or, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can unwind amidst the gentle sounds of chirping birds and flowing water.
The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you won't be bothering anyone, and no one will bother you, except maybe some mischievous forest animals.
The cottage has three floors, the middle one is where you will be spending most of your time. It includes a bathroom and a single room combining the kitchen, dining, and living room. In the middle of it is a fireplace that will keep you warm in the winter.
The top floor is the sleeping area, with two single beds and a double bed. There are always a couple of extra blankets and bed linen in the closets.
The bottom floor is mostly used for storage, but it does house a washing machine and some other things you might find useful.

I love nature and animals. I've lived on a farm my whole life, and now sharing that way of life with our guests is my passion. The Polhek cottage is only a 15 minute drive from our farm, so you're invited to come visit the animals.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
The cottage is surrounded by nature. The never-ending sound of a stream and the eye-pleasing view of the mountains it almost forces you to relax and take it slow. But even if this is an outpost from which you plan to explore the rest of Slovenia, it's a great place to stay. Except the last couple hundred meters, the roads are paved and in great shape. You can be in Ljubljana in 35 minutes, and in pretty much any part of Slovenia in a 2 hour drive.
