This recently renovated lower-level duplex vacation rental in Avalon, California, offers two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms and is a fantastic find for any family or group vacation.

Located on "the flats, " ideally located within walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants and local attractions. Enjoy Catalina Island activities or prepare a delicious home cooked meal in the gorgeous fully stocked kitchen.

This vacation home is the lower unit of a duplex on Catalina Island and is comprised of a primary bedroom with a king-size bed, mirrored closet and a 3/4 marble bathroom, plus a guest bedroom with a king-size bed, closet and 3/4 marble bathroom.

The back bedroom has a separate sliding glass door to the outside covered patio for private access. Relax outside on the patio with plenty of outdoor furniture for everyone, BBQ and extra space great for those island summer nights!

The open floor living space area features a seating area, smart tv and a queen sofa sleeper andmultiple windows inviting light inside. Enjoy the large kitchen which features brand-new cabinets and granite countertops, fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and cooking utensils which makes it an ideal gathering spot to cook and entertain simultaneously.

The property was overall cool. The AC was so so. Luckily the weekend wasn't crazy hot. The wifi was terrible. Couldn't watch TV in the living room due to constant buffering. There are ants so don't leave food out. The property was nice and clean overall. I just felt if we're about 500 cheaper that would have been a fair price point.

The location is amazing and the property is beautiful. Exactly what we are hoping for. There were a few minor issues when we arrived and the host quickly addressed them. Five stars.

The property was beautiful very clean with nice amenities, we had a very minor maintenance issue the the property management got corrected very quickly we were very impressed in the professional manner in which the property is managed and maintained. Definitely on the list to stay again.

Overall this place is in a great location and it is clean and nicely furnished and stocked. It is quiet except for occasional noise from people walking upstairs.The reason that I give it a 3 star is because it is apparent that the management company does not maintain this property.1. The window blinds in the master bedroom do not cover the entire sliding glass door. Since there are people upstairs who use that space, this is a privacy issue. I saw someone state this in an earlier review and assumed it was fixed. It is still not fixed. This shows a lack of maintenance on the management company.2. The a/c in the master bedroom does not work. This is something that should be fixed asap. I picked this place because it had a/c. Thankfully the living room a/c worked or the heat would have been too much. It was a warm weekend. I only hope my review gets the management company to get this fixed as well as the other issues.3. The wifi router did not work. I feel this is something that they should be equipped to fix but they are not. This was ok as we enjoyed being in Catalina but I thought people should know this issue. 4. No one met us at check in to go over everything. This is actually a requirement for Avalon rental properties. This is a management company issue.I hope that the owners find a better management company as it does look like they have put effort to make it a nice property. I would not stay here again unless that happened.

Fully stocked kitchen, clean, the beds were comfortable and the renovations made to the property are great and made the stay comfortable. The pullout sofa bed was even comfortable. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The owners were easy to communicate with and friendly. There is amazing food and our favorite restaurant, NDMK, is on the same street. The only thing I would change about the house is adding beach chairs.

This is a beautiful home located close to everything in Avalon. Loved the fully accommodated kitchen with lots of beautiful dishes s and silverware. Everything we needed to take care of our family. It is open, bright and comfortable. The owner was very communicative and helpful with anything we needed.

Awesome home in the perfect location. 2 minute walk to center of Avalon. Close to everything. Great home for two couples. We visited with a large group. Everyone else was at hotels. This was a way better value. It will be our go to home when we visit again. Don’t hesitate book this home.

Updated throughout. Clean and a nice quiet patio in the rear. Management was friendly and responsive. Washer/dryer was welcomed.

Great location and a spacious home. Unfortunately, the upstairs neighbors were frequently disruptive. There was loud talking and noise outside late at night, and they also ran their dryer multiple evenings after 9:00 PM, directly outside the bedroom sliding door, which made it difficult to relax and sleep. Blinds did not cover entire slider in bedroom so no privacy when other tenant used laundry.
