Welcome to our Cruzan Oasis at Gentle Winds!

The condo was completely renovated and refreshed December 2021! It boasts a fully renovated kitchen, updated bathrooms, furniture, and fresh linens & decor.

Gentle Winds is situated on the scenic North Shore of St. Croix in the sunny U.S. Virgin Islands, where the weather is great year round.

Come and enjoy the laid back Cruzan lifestyle in our spacious 3 bedroom /3 bath end unit condo with a fabulous beachfront location!

- Open concept living area for comfortable lounging accompanied by a wonderful ocean breeze
- 42' flatscreen TV with Direct TV HD satellite and Roku for streaming all your favorite shows!
- Bluetooth speaker to play your best beach playlists
- Each unit boasts private Wi-Fi and there is also public Wi-Fi throughout the property
- Porch off living area with table and seating for 4 to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the waves roll onto the beach
- Enjoy your favorite beverage - hot or cold, right in unit with our Ninja brewing system
- Ocean view bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom with stall shower
- Mountain view bedroom with two twin beds and private bathroom with shower/tub
- Luxurious linens throughout including bath and beach towels
- In-unit stackable washer and dryer
- New central Air - 2020 (although not usually necessary with the ocean breeze) as well as ceiling fans in all rooms

Second floor:
- Sweeping spiral staircase brings you to the open loft area with a mountain view balcony. The loft offers a relaxing sleeper sofa and desk area
- Master suite with queen bed, 20' flat screen TV:

Gentle Winds offers on-site amenities including a saltwater pool and tiki style sun shades on the beach for relaxing on the lounge chairs. The 'Sunny Shack' Beach Bar offers casual fare and island-inspired drinks (don't forget your reusable Yeti cups from the condo!). Gentle Winds is known to have one of the best diving spots on the island. Snorkel right off the beach and view the amazing sea life. Ping-Pong, Shuffleboard and Cornhole are just a few activities right on the beach. Ditch your dinner reservations one night and have a beachside barbeque on the patio off the great room (gas grills)! Outside the water, there is a three hole golf course with putting green (bring your own clubs), a basketball Court, and two tennis courts - one lined for pickleball! (racquets in the condo) at the beginning of palm tree lined entranceway.

The condo is a perfect fit for couples travelling together as well as families. Gentle Winds is truly a relaxing vacation spot!

Great Vacation!

We had an amazing time at Gentle Winds. The condo was immaculate and exceeded expectations.We had friends stay at other units on the property and ours was by far the nicest. The pool and pool bar were excellent. The beach is amazing. This property has it all.I will stay here every time I am on St. Croix.

All-Inclusive Family Fun Condo!

My husband and I visit St. Croix every year to visit our niece and her young family. This is our 1st time to stay at Gentle Winds, and "Family Tides" was perfect! It was roomy, clean and inviting for lots of family fun, including toys, games, puzzles, movie watching, etc.; the kitchen was well equipped & stocked; the bedrooms were comfy & great for accommodating several sleepovers with our 2 little grand nephews; and the pool/beach area with its snack shack was fabulous!

Great place

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Family Tides. The condo was clean and well appointed, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It had everything our family with three children under 5 needed to enjoy our vacation worry free (including plenty of beach towels, beach bags, toys, sunscreens, etc.). Beautiful views from every room! Gentle Winds complex is very well maintained with beautiful settings of the beach and the pool. It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay and we almost always had the beach to ourselves.

Lovely condo by the Sea

The condo is clean and comfortable. Everything is well labeled and easy to find. We appreciated the extra tidbits of information on the fridge. The fans are in excellent working order, which is important with the humidity on the island. Having the extra space by the living room and back door really helped the condo feel big. The location is really fantastic with the small beach, big pool, poolside restaurant, and game room. Great hosts to rent from!

Great view!

We had a great stay. They have really put a lot of thought into making sure there is everything you need. Check-in and out is easy. There are great ocean views from downstairs and upstairs balconies.

Easy, Breezy

We have stayed at Gentle Winds before in this very floor plan. The host has done an excellent job with updates in this unit. There was ample seating and sleeping for our group, and places for everyone to gather as well as places to disappear for a quiet recharge. We would surely recommend this property and stay here again.

Best family Vacation

This was a multigenerational vaca…and my 85 year old mom’s first vacation other than the Jersey shore! The condo couldn’t have been better! Everything we needed and more! We arrived late after a day of travel and had wine, rum, seltzer, water waiting! (We replenished for next guests) The Yetis were key for taking libations to the beach! My Mom loved having her coffee on the porch watching the ocean. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. Condo beautiful and clean! Washer was great as we had a rainy day and decided to do some wash before heading home. Condo is close to many restaurants.We had lunch at the beach shack a few times and many rum punches. We have been coming to St Croix for many years and this is by far our favorite place to stay! We will be back soon! Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful family trip!

Wonderful Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at Family Tides. The condo was beautiful, so clean and very well stocked. From sunscreen to cooler bags to Yeti cups to toys. The owner and the housekeeper were very attentive if needed. Quiet time to go which was what we were looking for. The Tiki Hut was open and staff so friendly with great drinks and food. Pool and ocean right in front of the condo! So sad we had to leave and are planning on returning! Highly recommend!

Croix Group

The Condo was clean and updated. The Condo had everything you need and more, the owners were excellent hosts and thought of everything (beach towels, yeti cups, beach toys, flashlights, ect). We had a group of 6 adults and each couple was very satisfied with the rooms. Our bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, bedding was updated, all bathrooms as well. It was nice to be able to do laundry and wash towels and cook a few meals. The owners were super responsive with my countless questions and sent info on rental cars, places to eat, grocers, and fun things to do. I recommend staying here. The unit is close to the pool and the beach and has excellent views. Unfortunately, we picked one of the only weeks with three days of rain but, we found things to do and still enjoyed a couple days of fun in the sun!

A Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Gentle Winds. Our host was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The property was as advertised. We all enjoyed the beautiful beach and pool on site. I would highly recommend this property for a fabulous visit to St. Croix.

Beautiful vacation place!

The codo has everything you need and is situated on the most beautiful beach! So peaceful and there is always a gentle breeze blowing. Everything went well, no issues at all! Recommend to anyone. But do rent a car because everything on the island is at least a 20 min drive. Great experience.

Vacation in Paradise

We had one of our best vacations ever at this beautiful condominium on the beach! Everything we needed plus more was available to us. The welcome letter headlights of useful information and tips. We spent ample time on the lovely screened in porch facing the ocean as well as the two balconies. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay than this condominium. We and our teenagers loved the saltwater pool and the stunning beach and were pleased that it never felt too crowded even in the height of spring break. They were always lounge chairs, hammocks, and shade available. Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Wonderful stay in a great location

My family really enjoyed our stay at "Family Tides"! The location is very convenient for many activities--including kayaking in the biobay (we used Virgin Kayak Tours) and scuba/snorkeling at Cane Bay (we dove with Kodey at Sweet Bottom dive and had lunch several times at the Landing). It was nice to have the pool, beach, shuffleboard, ping pong (balls are in a bedroom closet), etc. when we were there. We were able to get chairs on the beach/under the tiki sun shades, and at the pool, each time we went to the beach/pool. The condo itself had more than enough space for our family and had lots of things to help us enjoy our stay (plenty of towels, Yeti cups for coffee and drinks on the beach, sunscreen to be used if you run out and don't want to immediately go to the store, etc.). The host provided a nice summary of property details and recommended activities. We appreciated the recommendations and enjoyed each of the recommended activities/restaurants. Definitely recommend a visit!

Amazing!

The condo was amazing and so was Marianne. She sent a welcome packet about a week before the trip with lots of good/helpful information. She also said the condo came fully loaded and it did! It was so nice to have good quality beach towels and coolers with ice packs. She had many little touches that made the stay very comfortable and easy. We would go back in a heartbeat and give the condo a 5 star rating

Gentle Winds vacation

Gentle winds is in a perfect location on the North shore. The view from the condo is quite beautiful and the constant breezes make for a very comfortable stay. Marianne provides every amenity you’ll need during your stay including sun screen and lotions. I can tell you that her restaurant recommendations were top notch; we tried all the ones on the north shore; all were excellent. The welcome letter is very detailed and quite helpful. You’ll love the clean pool and bar. Sure glad We found this property on VBRO

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful.

View was beautiful. Our kids really enjoyed the pool after the outings during the day. Close access to Cane Bay too.

Amazing stay!

Stayed here for a week with my husband and parents. It was really amazing place to stay while exploring the island! The condo was perfect. It was spacious with three balconies! We ate dinner every night on the balcony watching the sunset. Marianne was very responsive to any questions we had. Gentle winds is a very relaxing, quiet and peaceful place. Couldn’t recommend it more!
