One Bedroom (King) with sofa sleeper (queen) on the shores of Wilke Lake in Manitowoc County. Includes: air-conditioning, dishwasher, electric fire-place, flat screen TV with satellite, internet access, gas grill, outdoor furniture, fire pit (starter wood provided), private pier, paddle boat and kayak.

Area Attractions include: Henning Wisconsin Cheese Factory / Museum(less than 1 mile away) stop in to learn how cheese is made or or for a taste of a locally produced ice cream. Six of Wisconsin's top golf courses are within 30 minutes of our location including The Bull, Black Wolf Run and Whistling Straits (Irish and Straights Cources), Pine Hills Country Club. Road America is about 20 minutes away. Green Bay Packer Stadium and Packer Hall of Fame about 50 miles. Art lovers may enjoy the John Michael Kohler Arts Center or The Plymouth Arts Center. Good shopping and restaurants close.

Cottage on the lake

Wonderful, quiet, restful stay. The lake is close and beautiful. Nice bass caught from the pier.

This property was beautiful. Huge private back yard. Private pier. The whole lake/ area is very quiet and relaxing. Definitely not a party lake/ area . It was exactly what we wanted/ needed.

Race Weekend

We stayed at Grandpa's Cottage and attended the weekend races at Road America. Beautiful, super clean cottage. Peaceful by the lake. Beautiful lake view!

Such A Nice Place

Relaxing

We stayed at the cottage for few nights with our family it was wonderful. The paddleboat was the highlight for us along with the bluegill fishing off of the dock. We will be back.

Relax

The property is exactly as the pictures show. The patio is private and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The lake was very weedy in mid-July. Kiel is a quick drive into town for groceries. If you want a quiet getaway, you'll be pleased.

The lake view was absolutely breathtaking! The peace and quiet of the star lite nights was EXACTLY what we needed to reset from our day to day stressful city lives. Will definitely go back.

Perfect little getaway

Loved it here - cabin was perfect size and extremely clean. Best part, that king bed was extremely comfortable. Cabin situated on the end of the road next to the owners who were available to answer questions and very kind. Our dogs loved the yard and the lake. It was so great to find a place that would allow more than one dog (rare find). Truly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Lake House Life =)

What a wonderful stay with Richard and Mary! The bedroom windows and sliding glass door look out over the lake, the lake breeze is especially pleasant in the evening, and the A/C made for comfortable sleeping in a wonderful bed. The reading chair with a view of the lake was perfect -- and so was the chance to take the new pup out for her first pedal boat ride just at sunset. I look forward to returning for further adventures and relaxation!

Grandpa’s Cabin on the lake :)

Our second stay at Richard and Mary’s cute Cabin on the lake. Such a fun trip. Kayaking on the lake and riding the waves at Koehler Andrew National Park at the beach with our teen son & two dogs. A nice week of fun and R&R. Thank you Richard & Mary!!!!! ❤️

Quiet and relaxing retreat

In the area for a wedding, we did not have opportunity to go out on the water; but we sure enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet. The super clean and airy cottage felt plenty spacious for the two of us. Richard and Mary were warm and attentive without being intrusive. We would happily return if back in the area.

A pleasant place on a quiet lake. We requested an extra night due to car issues and the hosts were very gracious about it. Sunrises were gorgeous! We had trouble getting tv channels we were used to, but spent the time sitting outside and watching the stars. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

We grew up and raised our family in nearby Sheboygan County. Richard has enjoyed Wilke Lake and it's activities for over 50 years. We were able to purchase this family property over 35 years ago. We have enjoyed spending time on the water, swimming, water skiing, and fishing) with our children and grandchildren. We currently are retired and live here year around.
