XL twin bed is located in a loft area, accessible by a ladder approximately 9 feet above the main floor. *** NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNABLE TO CLIMB A LADDER *** Private toilet inside rental unit and well-equipped kitchen (no oven). Smart TV, games, books, Bluetooth speaker. All bed linens, towels as well as cooking and serving essentials provided.
Coin showers and laundromat located approximately 25 feet from the unit. Tokens for shower are provided with your reservation. Shower building hours are 6AM to 9PM. If you require access to showers outside of these hours special access may be arranged.
Nordegg is a very small community. Everything in town is within walking distance but if you are planning to sightsee you will require a vehicle.
A vehicle is highly recommended for exploring the surrounding Rockies, as public transportation in the area is non existent. Guests can easily access the property by car, with convenient parking available on-site.
Both the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Edmonton International Airport (YEG) are approximately 3 hours away by vehicle, making Nordegg a great midway escape into the mountains. Car rentals are available at both airports.

These tiny Nordegg cabins are exactly that-tiny! The property was clean and freshly made up and is relatively new, so everything looked nice. However the listing fails to mention that the tiny cabin faces a laundromat that is only across the sidewalk, and a liquor store is only about 20 steps away. There is no view. Fortunately is was a quite weekend, but would not be the usual case. The listing is does state (quite away down in the listing) that the the showers are across the walkway in the laundromat and that they provide coupons, but it omits the fact that there is no shower, no tub, and no bathroom sink in the unit. One sink for for the kitchen that you must also use to wash yourself in. The "table" if you could call it that is like a small narrow desk with 2 tiny low sitting stools that have no backs. There is only one real chair in the unit. The 2nd bed is high up in the lofted ceiling that requires climbing a very steep ladder about 10 steps up and then maneuvering around an opening at the end of the bed rail to get up there. The main bed is a double, the loft is a single. We are seniors with some mobility issues so the low small stools were not a sitting option for us. And if we did want to use the loft the bed, we would not have been able to access it, and parents could not put a small child up there. The unit did provide games, books, lawn chairs and a first aide kit which were nice touches. The fridge is only bar size, and the there is only 1 burner.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt hinter der Tankstelle. Das hat uns im ersten Moment sehr überrascht. Jedoch war es leise die Nacht und am Morgen über.Die Cabin ist wirklich sehr klein, jedoch für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Dusche ist direkt gegenüber in einem separaten Gebäude. Das war aber kein Problem. Duschmarken liegen in einer kleinen Schüssel bereit.Das Bett ist bequem. Das einzige was fehlt ist ein separates Waschbecken in der Toilette. Man muss sich am Spülbecken die Zähne putzen.
