Enjoy a bright, beautiful, fun and and comfortable stay in Takoma Park, the Berkeley of the East Coast, at this welcoming studio apartment with private entrance. This adorable space features a cozy king bed, a well-equipped kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, a full bathroom with a massive bathtub, and convenient amenities like highspeed wifi, and a workstation with an ergonomic office chair.

After a day of exploring the city of Washington DC, working or studying, this fantastic retreat is a quiet place to relax, yet a short walk to fabulous restaurants (American, Italian, Middle Eastern, Thai, Vietnamese) and shopping. Includes a private entrance, parking for one vehicle is included, a patio with table, umbrella and chairs for your enjoyment. [NOTE: Due to snow removal issues in Montgomery County, MD, parking is limited to the Library parking lot at the end of the street until Feb. 11, 2026. Overnight parking is allowed there for free, and temporary permits are available.]

Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots that align with your tastes and needs for you to check out at your leisure. Shared washer and dryer access are available for stays over one week.

This was a lovely spot and so close to the metro! I loved the full kitchen and big bath tub. I would definitely stay again!

My husband and myself stayed here so we could tour DC and it was a great location. Very close to the Metro as well. The studio was just as pictures presented it and it was very quaint and cozy. The host were sure to explain check in and check out process very good and she even messaged to check on us once we got settled in! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great place for a week-long vacation to the DC area. Short walk through a beautiful neighborhood to the Takoma metro station as advertised. Kitchen was perfect for my son and I - we made pancakes and bacon for breakfast every morning. Check-in was easy as can be.

We enjoyed hosting Lucy! It was lovely to meet her in person, albeit briefly. We learned from her stay that email is sometimes more helpful than apps and intend to improve ourcown responsiveness via email. Lucy, hope you'll come back again!

Melissa's studio was perfect for my needs! The location was convenient and the bed was super cozy. There were a couple of kitchen items that I mentioned it would be nice to have, and Melissa said she would be sure to supply them for future guests. I look forward to staying here next time I visit DC!

The space was very cozy. Very clean and nicely furnished. Very comfortable kingsize bed with flannel sheets for winter. Well-designed kitchen and bathroom. Entry was easy and communication was very good. Even though the owners live upstairs, except for a few muffled footsteps, it was totally quiet. Very nice place for a good price.
