Modern and spacious apartment for 2 people max. Central air works well. Good location. Washer dryer in-unit is A convenience. Lots of natural light. Transportation and some food options nearby. Small appliances, oven, air filter and lighting in dining area could use upgrades.

We had a stress free stay. The property was clean and close to areas we wanted to visit in Detroit. The staff was responsive to communication and very helpful. We will stay again on future visits if possible.

I had a horrible experience with this host and this rental. If you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke PLEASE DO NOT BOOK! The whole apartment stinks of someone regularly smoking inside, & they strategically do not tell you-only saying they have a strict no smoke policy but anyone with a nose would know the place stinks. When I complained all I was offered were “air fresheners” which would have just made the place smell like fake scent & cigarettes. I even tried to air the place out and it did not go away. I was also harassed by the host via phone calls/texts about letting a former guest into the place while I was there, then said guest knocked on the unit door, and the host expected me to help them navigate this situation with their former guest. I’m a woman who was alone and did not feel like my safety or wellbeing was considered. Also getting into the unit was a hassle with the host giving me the wrong codes/key information three times. I left early after 1.5 days of marinading in cigarette smoke and no longer being able to stand being there for my health and safety. They are refusing to give me a refund or remediate my experience, offering me a 1 hour later check out from a place I couldn’t be in without feeling sick! Please save yourself a headache and do not book, so disappointed, airvista completely messed up my plans for my first time in Detroit.

We had a good experience. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the area had a lot of good places within walking distance. The only negatives were that I wish the host would put more detail in the listing. I would have liked to know in advance what all was provided (laundry detergent, coffee, etc). Communication with the host was also hit and Miss. sometimes responses were fast and other times I had to wait a while to hear back. Overall I had a good experience but I would have liked more details up front to help me plan and understand what was needed for the stay.
