With 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, and a cozy living room with a sofa bed, guests can relax in this terrific and soothing retreat. We are a working farm so we let you get as involved as you wish to, whether it’s feeding, petting, caring for, or just admiring from afar. Heating, WiFi, and a hair dryer are provided for convenience. Experience what Piney Creek has to offer with a stay at our farmhouse. Just 4 miles from New River tubing/canoeing,17 miles to Stone Mountain & Grayson Highlands wild ponies, 35 miles to snow tubing/skiing, many wineries and other entertaining activities.

We had a lovely time. Our 3-year old loved seeing all the animals and getting to feed them. Place was clean and nice, perfect for our family of 3. Would have loved to stay longer but only in town for one night. Great price for the value.

Very clean, quiet and well appointed. All the sweet animals were a bonus! I would definitely plan to stay here again! The host (Kimberly) was so sweet and chatted with me before I left. Highly recommend!

We had a quick overnight stay for a business trip! Wish we’d had more time to experience petting and feeding the farm animals! Kimberly is a gracious host and very attentive!Highly recommend a stay here if you in the area!

Just as described... rural oasis

While this is a rural location, it was a perfect location for us. We were visiting family near the area. We love animals and the many animals here were so much fun to stay near. The apartment is exactly as decribed and pictured. The space is clean and comfortable, with special and thoughtful touches everywhere. Breakfast was offered as an up charge and it was well worth it. It was beautifully presented and delicious. We will return to this area again to visit family and we will be booking this rental. Kimberly and her husband were so gracious and friendly.

Our 8-day stay was wonderful; the apartment is exactly as described, and even better, super clean and convenient, it has everything for your stay. The farm is large, full of animals that you can pet and feed, my 3 children enjoyed this, as well as collecting eggs in the mornings, enjoying the fresh mountain air, playing in the playground, petting and feeding the goats, and I enjoyed my freshly brewed coffee every morning while taking in the cool, sunny mountain sunrise. There are many things to do nearby; almost everything is within an hour's drive. We visited vineyards, the Appalachian Mountains where we skied, and we visited Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk where my children could enjoy the snow. Kimberly is a great hostess, always attentive to your needs, offering advice on places to visit and being attentive to any need you may have.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. The location was perfect for us, as it was close to Camp Cheerio on the New River, where our child was attending camp.We especially loved all of the beautiful farm animals on the property—it made the stay feel extra special. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would absolutely stay again and plan to return in the future!

Quick stay as we were driving through the area. It worked great for our family and my kids loved the animals. The decor and setup of the apartment is perfect and the host was very friendly. It’s a country setting, obviously, so be prepared for all that entails. It rained a lot so we didn’t get to do much outside or around the property. About a 15 minute drive to Sparta for food/stores.

Looooooooooved this place. Check in check out was super easy. The host was really nice and made us feel welcome. The animals are a fun touch. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.
