This house is absolutely fantastic. We travelled with 3 generations and found the set-up to be perfect. The house has plenty of room and is light and airy as you’d expect from a traditional country house. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and the hosts’ welcome treats were great. There is a good size living room but to be honest we spent all our time in the kitchen or outside! Outside, the pool is excellent with plenty of pool toys to keep the kids happy. Lots of seating and loungers to relax plus a large table to eat (as well as large tables inside to eat if you want). Great storage barns near the pool for your towels and drinks - big enough to store our bikes in as well. Nice bbq area. The grounds overall are large and private so kids can explore and have fun. There is plenty of parking in the shade. The village and local area has all you need - 3 boulangerie’s and 1 pizza takeaway (which was excellent!) a short walk from the house with a large Super U about 10 minutes drive away. The town of Amboise is very close and well worth a visit. Finally Karine and Thierry were excellent hosts, answering any questions we had from the moment we booked. They took time to show us the house and how things worked, which made us feel comfortable. Amazing holiday and would go back!
