It is next to Jerez’s most beautiful church, San Miguel, in the popular neighbourhood of the same name, which is famous for its flamenco artists. The apartment is very close to many bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions, but in a very quiet street. It has the advantage of free underground parking, under the building.

Nice apartment close to the city center in Jerez. Lots of restaurants and shopping within blocks. Easy walk to the train station to go to Caliz and other destinations. Easy walk to the Alcazar Castle and several vinters of Sherry. Host was quick to respond to questions and offered ideas for getting around and where to go. We felt happy with the apartment.

The perfect spot for a longer stay

Calle Pavon was very well placed for the centre of Jerez, but in a peaceful backstreet behind San Miguel church (well worth a visit...). We found it the perfect place to stay for a while in Jerez and get to know the place properly. The owner, Mary, lives close by and was very helpful in advising us of things to do, local events worth tracking down and bars and restaurants to visit.

Excellent all around

Couldn’t have been happier with the property! Ideal location with in a short walk to pretty much everything you need very well equipped and Mary the host could not have been more helpful with guide to the town and even helping us out booking a taxi when needed

Puente de Mayo conociendo Jerez

Una experiencia muy bonita, el apartamento está muy bien equipado, lo le falta de nada, hemos estado como en casa y la ubicación excepcional,. Mary súper detallista y encantadora. Recomendable 100%.

Hemos bajado a una boda, la casa preciosa en el centro de Jerez, muy luminosa y tranquila por su excelente ubicación aún estando en todo el centro, el trato de la propietaria y atención inmejorable, el garaje nos comentó si llevabamos un coche grande no poder utilizarlo, para haceros una idea yo tengo un passat familiar y lo he podido utilizar. Repetiria sin dudarlo

Vacaciones Semana Santa.

Casa muy agradable, la propietaria súper amable,. Situada en el mismo centro a 5 minutos de la Catedral y el Alcázar. Comercios, bares, restaurantes......todo a primera línea de la casa. En general, excelente. La cochera sin problemas, una maniobra y aparcado. Gracias Mery

Totalmente recomendable.

Casa muy agradable, muy limpia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario para estar como en casa. Perfecta para pasar unos días. Está cerca del centro pero a la vez es tranquila. Solo hemos estado un fin de semana pero repetiríamos sin duda. La recomendamos 100%. Mary es una gran anfitriona. Por ponerle un pero, el garaje es un poco estrecho pero ya Mary nos lo había avisado con anterioridad.

Lovely flat right in the centre of Jerez

This is a lovely flat right in the centre of Jerez.The lounge /dining area and bedrooms are very comfortable,the kitchen well equipped and Mary provides a good range number of basic store cupboard items to make you feel welcome right from the start of your stay,as well as information about what to do in the area.Mary provided excellent directions both in and out of the city and was there to welcome us on arrival.Everything was spotlessly clean and instructions provided for all the electrical gadgets.Being able to use the internet was also very useful.The whole flat is very tastefully decorated. This was the first time I had visited Jerez for over 30 years and although the city has grown it retains its traditional charm with the cathedral,alcazar and old quarter as well as one of the main bodegas within a few minutes' walk.There are many bars and restaurants again within minutes on foot. Parking is in a secure garage with direct access via lift to the flat-though might be a little 'tight' for a large car.Once parked you do not need a car in central Jerez as everything is so close and there are good public transport links by bus and train to Seville,Cadiz and a number of other places. I would highly recommend this property for couples or a family with older children

A home from home in Jerez

We stayed in this apartment for a month in January-February 2011. We wanted to get away from the English winter, but go somewhere that was not a holiday resort and where we could see a little of the "real life" of the area. Jerez de la Frontera was exactly the right location for us - plenty to see and do in the town and surrounding area, but not full of tourist shops at tourist prices. The apartment is in the old part of the town, less than 5 minutes from the main square, so it is possible to walk to most of the attractions. The underground car park would be tight for a large car, but Mary, the owner, had given us plenty of warning about this. We were glad of the car to be able to drive out to golf and places like Ronda and the Grazalema, but were able to get the train to Sevilla and Cadiz. The flat is well equipped and comfortable for a stay of this length, with plenty of seating and a good kitchen, and Mary was very quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The internet connection was a particular boon. Mary was also very helpful in letting us know about any special events happening in the town, which we would otherwise have missed. All in all, we had a marvellous stay in a very comfortable flat and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Estuvimos alojados un fin de semana de septiembre. El apartamento es ideal para 4 personas. Zona muy tranquila y a un paso de restaurantes, bares de copas y monumentos. Muy bien situado para visitar Jerez el casco antiguo de Jerez.. La propietaria muy amable y pendiente de todos los detalles

Jerez Extraklasse

Schon die Kommunikation vor der Reise war sehr gut. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir freundlich in Empfang genommen und ausführlich eingewiesen. Für den ersten Abend war sogar eine Flasche Sherry im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, hell, sauber und komfortabel. Bei der Ausstattung haben wir absolut nichts vermisst. Trotz der sehr zentralen Lage zum Zentrum ist die Nebengasse ausgesprochen ruhig. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen, interessanten Aufenthalt. Das Auschecken war dann auch unkompliziert. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Lovely apartment

We had originally booked Mary’s apartment for six nights but COVID meant that we stayed only one night enroute from the south of Spain to Madrid to catch our early flight back to Canada. As most businesses and restaurants were closed after we arrived, we basically spent the 24 hours we were there in the apartment, which was bright and comfortable. Our only recommendation would be to rent a sub-compact car (FIat or Mini) as the parking spot is extremely tiny! Mary was extremely responsive to every message and should we ever return to Spain, we would certainly consider staying in her apartment again.

Wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful stay in Jerez and the apartment was well located so we were just a five minute walk to the centre of the city. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. There was a full functioning kitchen and There was fresh milk in the fridge along with a bottle of Tio Pepe on arrival! Very considerate. Beds were very comfortable and extra bedding available as it was a little chilly in the evenings. Our host was a wonderful host as she would respond to any questions or queries very swiftly and helpfully, which made the break that bit more relaxing..thank you Mary.

Halte à Jerez , comme à la maison !

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans l'appartement de Mary. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mary qui nous a donné tous les renseignements nécessaires aux parfaits touristes ! L'appartement est très fonctionnel et très bien équipé, rien ne manque. Dans le parking souterrain, avec de nombreuses manœuvres (...), nous avons réussi à entrer et à sortir (!) notre Renault Kadjar. Séjour parfait donc dans l'appartement de Mary. Mary, Encore un grand merci pour votre attention et votre délicatesse. Bien à vous

Great base to explore Jerez and surrounds

This is a great apartment right near the centre of Jerez. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is in walking distance to shops restaurants and Sherry Bodegas. Also a good base for exploring surrounding towns such as Cadiz and Ronda. Owner Mary a great host with helpful suggestions to ensure we got full value from our stay. Recommend without reservation

Appartement très fonctionnel et très bien situé

Un très bon accueil avec une propriétaire très investie et de très bons conseils. Appartement proche des lieux animés Je conseille très fortement. Juste le parking est prévu pour une petite voiture. Nous avons choisi un abonnement hebdomadaire à 35€ et très proche de l appartement.

Perfekte Wohnung

Die Wohnung (wie auch das ganze Haus) ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sie liegt nahe am Zentrum, aber in einer sehr ruhigen Straße ohne Verkehr, das Haus ist sehr sicher. Es gibt eine Dachterrasse, normalerweise zum Wäsche-Aufhängen, die wir abends für ein "Picknick" sehr genossen haben. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben viele gute Tipps von ihr bekommen! Wir würden jederzeit diese Wohnung wieder mieten und empfehlen sie uneingeschränkt weiter.

Perfect treasure

For us this was very different because we don't usually do city apartments. But it was really lovely, exactly as listed. The owner was really helpful and her suggestions certainly enhanced our experience. We enjoyed the Alcazar, Flemenco, Tapas, Lustau Bodega and the cafe culture. Jerez is quite a treasure and this apartment is perfectly placed. It is also safe with a good place to park your car (suggest you heed owners advice re small car for both the narrow streets and parking).

An Extremely Pleasurable Experience

A superb 2 week holiday was enjoyed here in April 2014. We thought the apartment would be very good after reading all the testimonials, in fact it exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for the tourist; just 3 minutes walk to the main square, that is if you do not dally at the 4 bars on route! A further 2 minutes walking and you are in the heart of the restaurant or shopping area. To the opposite side of this square is the Alcazar/Cathedral and the Tio Pepe wineries visit. This upper floor apartment occupies the prime position in the block; its 5 main windows all face south over a wide forecourt. There is direct sunshine through them from morning to evening, shaded by shutters/blinds/nets/drapes, even if it happens to be a low angle Winter sun. This engenders a sunny disposition in the holidaymaker. Cooling and heating is of integral whole apartment style by ducted air to outlets in lounge, dining and both bedrooms. These 2 bedrooms are quiet for sleeping, due to modern double glazed windows facing onto a quiet back street. ( Google Earth: Jerez Calle Pavon) The bathroom has a 4 piece suite, incorporating a beer cooler and powerful shower. Hot water is 24/7. The kitchen has a particularly full complement of equipment and a wide range of consumables is kindly provided. A large quantity of good quality towels and linen is in place. Security is strong due to key entry to the foyer of the block and a high security door to the flat itself. The perimeter walled flat roof is a sun trap; there are chairs up there so that quiet secluded reading can be enjoyed. Mary provides an extensive library. We thought that the free secure parking in a city centre for our hired Punto and then to be whisked to the door of our apartment was a substantial luxury feature. Mary did a splendid job as our Personal Trip Advisor: keen to use her Spanish to book visits/restaurants, provided pages of typed information regarding the local scene plus e-mails and texts so that we did not miss any events. We think this has to be the best overall package available to the the tourist in Jerez and it all comes at a remarkably low cost.

It has a lively cultural scene, with an excellent main theatre, and other smaller ones, as well as many beautiful churches and mansions that can be visited. On top of that, the gastronomic offer is excellent, with numerous bars and restaurants of all kinds within easy walking distance.

My apartment is a real home from home, comfortably furnished and with a well equipped kitchen. It has a large collection of books at my guests’ disposal and other personal touches, like the rainy day guide and a comprehensive guide to cafes, bars and restaurants, personally tested by me!
