Everything was good, we enjoyed the stay just know that it is a cottage so your looking a smaller space which was ok with us, Everything was clean, easy to get in and out of driveway with it being on Hwy 101, nice property, not to close to town and not to far from town, Marissa was good at getting back to me quickly with answers to my questions.

We loved this clean, charming, pet friendly home. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful, nearby beaches within a few minutes drive. We enjoyed that the home had a nice large yard for the kids to run and play. It’s located directly off of Hwy 101 which is a busy highway but the house is set back from the road and the noise wasn’t bothersome. The hosts were wonderful and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We loved our stay! The house was super clean, cute and easy to use. There was even a basket of goodies for us and special things for our dogs. Amazing!

Had an incredible stay at the Bandon Bear Cottage. The location is ideal—tucked away on a beautiful, quiet 1.5-acre wooded lot that gives you complete privacy, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive into Old Town Bandon.The layout of the 3-bedroom house is fantastic. The California King in the master bedroom was exceptionally comfortable, and the blackout curtains are a huge plus for actually getting some solid rest. The house was spotless, spacious, and easily accommodated everyone.It served as the perfect base camp for exploring the southern coast. We spent our days checking out the local shops and great restaurants in town, and making the drive to explore Secret Beach. Coming back to the cottage to wind down was the best part. We spent our mornings on the front patio with a cup of coffee and wrapped up our days on the large back deck, soaking in the crisp coastal air.The host, Marissa, was highly communicative and the self-check-in was a breeze. Flawless coastal retreat—we will absolutely be back!

Great place to stay!

Great house! Owner makes it feel like home! Was clean and welcoming! We loved the location and Bandon is a really nice town! Would absolutely recommend this house, great for kids as well!

Lovely home in a lovely town

Loved this home. It had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive with a little help we needed at the home. When we are back in town we will definitely stay here again.

My partner and our two dear friends just spent two nights at the Bear Cottage. The house was well-stocked and had many thoughtful touches. We’d stay there again.

We had 4 adults and two active young children along with permission to bring our two dogs. The home was perfect for what we needed; very kid friendly and dog friendly as well, with the large kennel in the back. The host welcomed us with generous treat baskets both for humans and dogs. We are an active outdoor family, and the sites we planned to visit were an easy drive to get to, as was the actual town of Bandon. We loved everything we were able to do away from the home during our four night visit, and enjoyed the patios and the large yard when back from our daytime excursions. We made the trip to Shore Acres but were disappointed to find that at the time they were not allowing dogs due to some of the vegetation which could be harmful. Despite this we were able to find another beautiful spot recommended by the person at the entrance station. I agree with my granddaughter - "this trip was the best"!!

We had a lovely time at Bandon Bear Cottage, it was simply perfect for us. My husband golfed and I explored the gorgeous beaches so close by. The house was adorable, clean and homey. I locked myself out and Marisa was so kind to rush to the rescue- she was delightful. We will be back again.

We loved our stay at Bandon Bear Cottage. It was exactly what we needed. Perfect location, we loved the grounds (minus the spiders) the house was amazing and ideal for our needs. Thank you, THANK YOU! We will definitely be back. It might be a new tradition :)

Perfect Family House

This house was perfect for our 3 little kids and had a bunch of toys for them to play with! We love how close the house was to town, and communication with the host was so easy and she was so great to work with!

Wonderful Little Place

We had such a good time getting together with our son and his family. Four adults and two kids, and the Bear Cottage was just right for us. Easy to get to the local attractions. The owners take extra steps to making your visit a great one. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay and play in Bandon.

Great Weekend Getaway

We were just looking for a place for a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday. Bear Cottage was fabulous. Clean, plenty of room, nice location. Host was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything went well for our family. I would highly recommend a stay here. Especially if you love bears as much as I do!

Adorable place!

Such an adorable place! Perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). Close to Bandon by the sea, but still private and cozy. Owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A fantastic experience. We highly recommend!

Comfortable and close to everything

A friend and I stayed at the Bear Cottage for two nights for a weekend getaway to Bandon. The house was really comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. It was also close to everything--the beaches, downtown, and the main road in and out of town. Marissa was an excellent host and very responsive. I'd stay here again!

The Bandon Bear Cottage was cozy and full of supplies to make the stay comfortable and not have to travel with supplies. The yards are expansive and perfect for outdoor play. the little outdoor play house allowed hours of creative play for little ones. Very clean home! The owners are prompt in answering questions and gave us a little history of their ownership of the home. Delightful people to meet.

Perfect after Christmas relaxation

We arrived the day after Christmas (Thursday) and had to leave on Sunday. It was so lovely and cozy. Listening to the rain every night in bed was nice. The twin beds were kinda squeaky but the queen and king beds were comfy. The couches were soft and the kitchen was adequately stocked for us.

Perfect getaway. Great hosts!

The house and property were clean and beautifully kept. Super Clean house with everything we needed. Host had a basket of goodies waiting for us and a welcome card with well wishes for our anniversary. House was close to downtown, food and several beach destinations/ attractions. They even let us borrow a kite as we forgot ours. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Down home comfort

We loved the place. It is a great location to explore this part of the Oregon coast. Lee and Marissa are amazing hosts. Very generous with their time, information, and resources. They were flexible and accommodating with me parking my boat. Thanks for sharing your home!
