Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Elkhorn Cabin is located at The Crossings Campground in Belfield, North Dakota. The campground is 15 miles from the entrance of the famous Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The campground sits close to town but also gives you a secluded prairie feel. There, you will see a fully furnished cabin where you can relax ad have fun at the same time with your family or your friends near the famous national park. We hope you enjoy!!

Great place to stay while visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Relatively quiet place to stay. Easy check-in and host was very responsive. Would stay again. Bonus was the washer and dryer!

Communication was great, the campground was quiet. Great price and great to see a place so pet friendly. Oh, and the pillows were top notch. Only thing that would make it extra nice is some chairs/table for sitting outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather.

Rudimentary at best. Basics only. Could be a bit cleaner. Not much warm water for shower. Bed was comfy. Communication with owner was superb.

Clean,wall air conditioners in bedrooms, heaters in each room. We liked having the space to move around, it’s a Nice quiet area plus pet friendly.

The property was welcome to pets but not allowed on the furniture. It was clean and tidy. Host was responsive. I didn't spend much time inside. I used it for a place to sleep and shower and it hit the spot.

Awesome cabin within 20min drive to TRNP. It was a quiet area. Everything in the cabin was in working order and fit the description. Was pleased to find a blowdryer and basic shampoo/conditioner/body wash, dish soap, etc. as well as detergent for washing machine. Kitchen had the basic tools and dishes we needed. The pillows were EXCEPTIONAL! Best pillow I’ve slept on in years.A couple notes:-Our linens and the cabin were very dog-hairy. We didn’t bring a pet and weren’t expecting that much dog hair to be left behind. Did notify the host about a possible lint-trap cleaning solution to help with the hair on the linens.-There is no deadbolt or secure lock to the building. The handle has a basic lock and doesn’t provide enough security protection for our comfort level. -Second bedroom with the pull-out sofa is a tight fit. It worked ok for us but the door has to be left open with the bed out or you’ll be trapped inside. Just FYI if that doesn’t meet your needs.Overall, the host was responsive and we would stay again if the lock situation was improved!

This is a small new trailer. Since it is new it is not heavily stocked with kitchen items, spices, etc. it is a small kitchen with limited cooking stove and no regular oven. They are very friendly and helpful, the trailer is clean and neat, not really roomy for more than 2 people. Easy, short distance to Medora and TRNP.

My friend and I expected a good experience when we walked in the door: the space was nicely laid out and furnishings were comfortable. What we got was: No way to turn on AC in one room due to a missing remote, and it was 90 degrees out, and we were too short to see if we could manually turn it on. (In-house guidebook said use the remote.) Damp second bath towel in the bathroom closet required us to have to search for dry bath towels in other rooms. This led to finding 2 more damp ones and a damp bedspread in the dryer. We called the host number hoping for help with remote and pointing out the weird towel situation; no one answered during business hours. We emailed and didn't hear back til next day, which was an offer to give us towels and saying they'd look into the remote situation. Never got back to us on the remote. The email to us on checkout asked us to put sheets and towels in the washer -- who does that with paying guests? It appeared the onsite housekeeping crew did not bother to make the space guest-ready. We will not be returning.

This was a great value. There are a couple of kitchen items that would have been great to have but if you’re not cooking a lot you’ll be fine. Beds were comfortable and the distance to the National park was incredible.
