Enjoyed the suite, the kitchen is beautiful. The bathroom was quite lovely. Location is ideal. Bed was very comfortable.

We enjoyed staying in this beautifully designed flat. Love the high ceilings and dramatic flair. It was also comfortable and very clean. Easy walk into downtown Stratford. Would stay again. Thank you.

Highly recommend

Our stay at Flat 3 in Hotel Julie was a wonderful and meaningful experience for us. The flat was clean and well stocked with essentials. It comfortably housed our small family and the place was decorated beautifully. It's located well and has ease of access to the shops downtown. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to Stratford. I am very grateful for the staff in making our stay memorable and I highly recommend Hotel Julie.

Cozy and romantic

What a perfect getaway in a beautiful town where the food scene is for the foodies and shopping is for all your desires. We embarked on a few-day vacation to Stratford to discover not only an amazing Boutique hotel, but a great little town with everything to offer from shopping to entertainment. And let's not forget the amazing food scene that this city offers. And let's not forget that the hotel was priced at a perfect budget minded. Couple who appreciates known only value but comfort

We enjoyed our stay, the flat was very nice! a couple small suggestions, perhaps remind guests to lock the front/ main door, it was unlocked a couple times. Let people know where supplies are, IE in the closet and bottom drawer in the kitchen, perhaps it was stated but we didn't see it. a light in the closet a night night paint the bathroom door damage replacing the missing handles on both dressers We were told our room would be made up on Saturday, but this didn't happen.

needs some upgrading

thank you for asking. First the positives - easy to find, great to have a parking spot just for us, easy to access, great that it was on the main floor (we are older so stairs are a challenge) lovely kitchen (which we did not use but still - obviously some money has been spent to make it nice). Used the seating area in the kitchen almost exclusively. Concerns - rated in order of importance - first the bed - awful . Definite craters where people have slept - like sleeping in a bathtub. Desperately needs replacing. Generally the flat is very dark. I get the decor but the lighting is bad. There wasn't one place where there was enough light to read a book in the evening. Ran out of Toilet paper and could not find more - that's not a fun problem. There was a sign on the bathroom wall that mentioned paper towels but couldn't find those either. Generally - things need some TLC - paint chips, missing pulls on furniture - just gives the place a less cared for feel - and not appropriate for the rates being charged. Seating in the living area - not good for seniors - very low to the floor and hard to get out of so we didn't use it. TV - couldn't find local stations and no CNN which is something we access daily for news. Internet went in and out in the morning - not consistent. I think this place has potential but hasn't been looked after - that was the feeling from our stay. Might be really great with some attention,

Satisfied

We will return. It’s a great concept and design. Very straightforward access. A couple of notes: there were no curtain rod/hangers - a bit of an inconvenience. There was no tea towels upon arrival, although the young lady who tidied the room left one the next day. You may also wish to consider replacing the missing hardware on the furniture. It sends the wrong vibe. But still enjoyed our stay.

Not yet ready for prime time

With the transition from the previous owners to new owners, there is a lot that still needs to be worked out. The Flat itself is lovely, but it has not been well maintained (when I pulled open the drawers of the dresser, the drawer handles fell off, not once but several times, the walk-in closet has no light and no clothes rod for hanging clothes, etc.). And while the Flat had been well cleaned, we arrived to find no towels, almost no toilet paper, no paper towels (which are supposed to be available in the kitchen). We contacted management, but with no one on-site or even in the same city, they didn't seem to know how to fix these problems. Lastly, while the Flat is quirky and attractive, there are aspects that make it less than functional - air conditioning in the bedroom only, high ceilings (lovely!) that result in poor lighting, etc.. I wanted to love the place, but there are currently too many small problems that made our stay awkward and more uncomfortable than it should have been. These are all things that the new owners can work out, if they choose, which would turn Hotel Julie into a great place to stay.

amazing stay!!!

Everything was beyond perfect from the detailed emails for check in, to the cleanliness of the hotel, even the sweet text messages checking in if you needed anything. It truly felt like a home away from home. We loved having a little kitchen and going to the local shops to make a few meals on our own. Parking is perfect, they really thought of everything in this hotel! Not to mention the best sleep ever!!!

A Lovely Stay

My sister and I stayed for a night at Hotel Julie, and can truthfully report that we had an excellent experience. The bed was very comfortable, we had plenty of space, and the decor was charming and whimsical and pretty.
