Absolutely perfect vacation with kids and grandkids. Game rooms were a huge hit. Pool was excellent. Management was super easy to deal with. Very nice property. Would definitely go back as everyone hated to leave!

Wonderful trip!

Great house! Home was very clean and had plenty of activities for the kids and adults. Would definitely recommend this place.

Summer fun!

Beautiful house and a great place to spend a summer vacation. Kids had a blast! Had a couple minor issues but the host was quick to respond and got the issues resolved.

This was a great property. Plenty of room, great attention to common areas. It was furnished to be socially comfortable for a large group. We could literally all sit around in the living room and see and talk to each other. The game rooms were AMAZING! Everyone enjoyed them. Excellent theatre. Great pool and hot tub. Laundry on both floors. There was nothing left out truly. The only issue we had was we weren’t allowed to set the thermostat below 70. We’re from TX and we like it cool (68) and sort of felt for the price they could have met us in the middle but we went out and bought standing fans for each room which we left there for future guests and made it just fine. We actually liked the property so much we’re talking about building one on the coast here in Port Aransas just like it!

Good for large families

Our family of 16 spent most of our time at the property. It is great for the kids, who used everything. Property managers should have a better inventory as they did not know what the property had and did not when I called (only knew what owners were required to have). Outside of house was very dirty with bugs everywhere. Trash cans horrible. Inside was clean and comfortable. Owners did a great job putting this place together. Abuse by renters is showing though.

Reunion

The house is great and very accommodating, however is starting to show some wear and tear. Several of the games were broken and either unable to be played or needed to be reset constantly, the grill fan and outdoor refrigerator were not working and the pool area furniture near the fire pit were so wore out we were afraid to sit on them. The umbrella was missing from the island in the pool as well. Maintenance came when called but some of the fixes were too big ( grill fan), but it seems the property could use a bit of general maintenance repairs.

Beautiful house, but we expected a bit more for the price......

Pros: The house is beautiful and well appointed! The furnishings throughout the house are all high end, in excellent condition and comfortable. There's plenty of space to spread out and the house comes with a variety of activities for the whole family. The themed rooms/secret playroom are fabulous for the kids! It was great that we all had our own private rooms with en-suites. The pool & hot-tub were well kept and clean. Having 2 laundry facilities and 2 dishwashers was a definite plus.The movie theater was utilized almost the whole time. Cons: After paying an all in price of $1,250 per night, we expected more from the property. Being well experienced vacation home renters, the management and amenities of the property left much to be desired. To start, the internet was hit and miss.We let the property managers know right away and then again days later and yet the issue was never resolved.To have a movie theater that streams movies from the internet that was either offline or intermittent was a nightmare. We ended up using our cell phone hot spots to stream the movies. Two of the arcade games in the game room were broke, however when we alerted management, they did send someone out to fix the next day. Or largest point of contention was that after spending $1,250 a day to rent this place, it came with virtually no staples. In every other house we have ever rented, there has at least been a small supply of your everyday staples. Upon arrival we noted that each bathroom had the remaining roll of TP from the previous guest and 1 small additional one. With a house full of girls, we were hitting up the store in no time. The property management also left us with a small baggie containing a travel size bottle of dish soap, a sponge, 1 dishwasher pod and 2 garbage bags. This is a small consolation gift given that we had 14 guests staying with us. Unlike every other house, this house had no spices, no salt or pepper, no paper towel, no napkins, no hand soap, no tin foil, no cling wrap, no baggies, etc. We had to go to the store to stock the house with virtually everything. Each bathroom did have a small travel shower set. We also had to pay $60 per day in order to heat the pool and or hot tub. You can't heat both at the same time. There is no way we spent $360 to heat a pool for 6 days. We also spent $120 in fogger and bug spray because the biting flies and mosquitoes carried us away come dusk daily. The house backs up to a swamp/wetland area.

Also, we are thrilled to know that the condition and cleanliness of the home were well maintained. We are very sorry if there was a misunderstanding regarding the nature of the rental home. For licensing reasons, we can only provide the rental homes on a "self-catering" basis. We provide starter pack dish washing liquid & detergent, laundry detergent, dish sponge, conditioning shampoo, soap & trash bags. We regret that we are unable to stock supplies of these items within the cost of the rental, but we are always happy to arrange pre-arrival grocery and supply shopping as a service to our guests. We appreciate your feedback and value our guests' comments in order to improve and continue to be the vacation rental of choice. We are glad to know that overall the property was excellent for your vacation. We appreciate your business and look forward to hearing from you for your next trip to Orlando!
