The Space:

The handcrafted log cabin welcomes you with a warm central fireplace and Scandinavian-inspired design, creating an inviting atmosphere for your stay. On the ground floor, the spacious open-concept layout seamlessly connects the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room, making it easy for everyone to gather. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and all the essentials needed for preparing meals. The dining area comfortably seats 10 guests at the main table, with an additional table available for larger groups. The living room features two sofas arranged around the fireplace, while the primary bedroom on this level offers two double beds.



Upstairs on the mezzanine, you'll find two additional bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed and a single bed, providing comfortable accommodations for families and groups.



Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, relax on the covered front porch surrounded by peaceful forest views, or enjoy meals on the back patio with a propane BBQ. The outdoor experience also includes a beach volleyball court for friendly competition and a fire pit area perfect for gathering under the stars.



Accommodating up to 10 guests, this 4-bedroom chalet is ideal for families, groups of friends, and multi-generational getaways. With inviting indoor gathering spaces, relaxing outdoor amenities, and a peaceful natural setting, it offers the perfect balance of comfort, connection, and time spent outdoors.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire chalet and the surrounding property. The chalet is located on a quiet country road, offering a peaceful setting and plenty of privacy.



Parking is available on site and the chalet offers a self check-in system with a door code for a simple and flexible arrival.



The Neighborhood:

The chalet is located at 486 Rang Saint-Antoine in Saint-Léonard-de-Portneuf, in a quiet and pleasant area. The village center is only about 2 minutes away, where you will find a small grocery store and a few local services.



The town of Saint-Raymond is located about 10 minutes away and offers several restaurants, shops and all the essential amenities for your stay.



Getting Around:

The chalet is perfectly located for outdoor enthusiasts. You have direct access to the Jacques-Cartier Portneuf cycling path, ideal for biking and scenic walks. In winter, the snowmobile trail is also accessible directly nearby.



Several attractions are located just minutes from the chalet, including Eau Claire Beach and the Lac Simon Vacation Center, which offer a wide variety of activities such as swimming, kayaking, hiking and family activities.



The Portneuf region is well known for its natural landscapes and outdoor activities, while still being located only about 45 minutes from Quebec City.



Other Things to Note:

If you bring a dog to the cottage, it is important to follow these rules:



-The animal must never be left unattended and/or alone in the accommodation.

-The animal must be tied up at all times when it is outside the cottage. (Please provide the necessary equipment for this purpose)

-It is important that the animal does not make any noise (no barking or screaming that could disturb the neighbors).

-Comply with municipal regulations concerning animals.

-Do not allow the animal to climb on sofas and beds.

-Pick up all animal waste, both inside and outside.

-Be responsible for all costs related to damage caused by the animal.



Please note that the BBQ and outside fire area are available only during summer time.



The chalet is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. While it's not a central system, it typically ensures a comfortable temperature throughout the entire space.
