Courtly Knights - A Stay Fit for a King and Queen!
Courtly Knights is waiting for you at this fabulous 1-bedroom apartment filled with historical charm and artistic appeal. You will be immersed within the historic center of Sant'Ambrogio and within walking distance to all touristic destinations of the city including many fantastic museums, landmarks, and restaurants! This adorable property features a cozy queen bed, a modern bathroom with a refreshing shower, and convenient amenities like AC and WiFi. All rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Guests can enjoy the marvelous charm of this place while exploring the city. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.
Historical Significance and Practical Location:
Courtly Knights of 50 sqm (538 sqft) is located on the historical and picturesque street of Borgo Pinti. This street has historical significance as it was the street where many Renaissance artists lived and had their workshops. It is within walking distance of all tourist and monumental sites including the Duomo, Accademia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, and Santa Croce.
Restaurants, cafes, and shops abound nearby. The largest grocery store in the center is located within a short walking distance from the house, which makes it very convenient if you want to buy food and later cook a meal in the kitchen.
Ground Floor - Living and Dining rooms, Kitchen, Bathroom:
Located on the ground floor are the living and dining rooms, kitchen, and bathroom. The sofa bed is comfortable for sitting during a busy day from exploring the city. To add to the charm of the house and the artistic reflection of the historical city, the living room is decorated in a medieval/Renaissance style with tapestry, a suit of armour, and furniture that were typical of these periods. A chest from the 1600s adorns with an atmosphere of old.
The dining room has a table that comfortably fits four people. The kitchen has most cooking accessories to make a meal including a stove, oven, refrigerator, pots/pans, dishware, and cutlery. The bathroom has a towel rack and cabinet in case you need to store any of your belongings.
Loft - Study and Bedroom:
Go up one flight of stairs and you reach the loft, which includes a study room and bedroom. Reminiscent of the medieval period and Italian Renaissance, the study features tapestry, helmets, and antique Sgabello and Savonarola chairs. An antique desk can be used for your own personal workspace. Wood-beamed ceilings are seen on this level, which preserves the historical character of the building.
The bedroom contains a very comfortable queen-sized bed that sleeps two people and a dresser and hangers in a closet that has ample space for your clothes. The view out of the window is a view a little down to your right of the medieval and now Renaissance-styled church, Santa Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi.
All linen including bath towels for your stay is provided. WIfI is fast and reliable.

Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: Marc

Apart from my love of hosting travelers from all over the world to give them an experience of a lifetime from my uniqueness of my apartment, I also own a travel business called Courtly Tours. I have the same goals for my travel business that I do with my hosting activities.
Courtly Tours was born from more than a decade of living and working in Europe. My journey began when I obtained my PhD in climate science in Zürich, Switzerland, and then conducted research at scientific institutes in different European countries.
I acquired a depth of knowledge, including learning about the many aspects of the local culture and the history of important destinations. Courtly Tours is the culmination of leveraging my research and learning skills, knowledge of travel and history first-hand, and the passion to share it with others in a unique and exciting way.
My main mission as a travel business owner is to provide the traveler with a unique experience beyond the typical excursion by incorporating my own personal experiences without imposing any preferences and combining travel that is historically inspired and artistically appealing as well as providing local experiences.
Personalized service and special care are taken to ensure you have a well thought out travel plan plus a smooth experience from beginning to end. I also ensure I am readily available during your trip for any assistance.
