Nestled right next to the beautiful 3,394 acres of forests and wetlands of Black Moshannon State Park, Moshannon Lodge is quiet qetaway for you, your family and friends. If you love to Hike, hunt, kayak, fish, snowmobile, cross country skiing, or explore nature this is the place for you.
Kevin and Lorie Are the new owners of The Black Moshannon Lodge and will do our best to make your visit with all the conveniences of home- but leaving the technology at home!

Beautiful, Clean Lodge!

We stayed the weekend and it was very clean and cozy. We had no issues with anything whatsoever, and the neighbors were very friendly! I would definitely stay here again!

Great weekend

Very nice comfortable stay! The place is huge and perfect for a big group. We loved sitting out back on the deck and by the fire. The location was awesome right next to a walking trail and the beach was so close and convenient!

Short family trip

Cabin was better then we expected, very spacious and the Christmas decorations were an added bonus. Only 25 minutes from Beaver Stadium, we will definitely keep this place in mind for future road trips.

This was our second visit to this cabin. We love the comfortable furnishings, large table for family meals, relaxing hot tub, and hiking trails just steps away.

Spacious and relaxing

We had a group of 6 and we just loved it. The area is so beautiful and there’s so much to do. We spent the one day just relaxing at the cabin because it was so nice there.

Cozy cabin

This was the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. We enjoyed being off the grid. The hot tub was great and the cabin was just as promised. We would definitely come back!

Great stay as always!

The property is clean and has everything one could want for a weekend in the woods. We meet here once a year for an annual fly fishing trip. We used to go to the cabins in the park but as we have aged, we realized we really needed a hot tub 😂. Amazing!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This is the second time we have rented the Black Moshannon Lodge for a bachelorette weekend, and it did not disappoint. The check-in process was extremely easy and the property was exactly as described. We had a great and memorable girls weekend.

Love the lodge!

We stay here every year for winter camping. Friends rent cabins on the park and we gather at the lodge for meals and games. Love the large table. Kids love the hot tub! Great space!

Comfortable and complete

We had a wonderful time. They have lots of bedding, towels, etc. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and is a nice size. Lots of space for activities and relaxing. Can't go wrong with this property.

Kevin and Lorie are the proud new owners of The Black Moshannon lodge. We love the outdoors and enjoy camping and thought it would be a great place to have and enjoy and also allow other people to enjoy as well.
the Lodge has been rented by individuals all over the United States and Canada because of its close proximity to State College and the ability to attend events at Penn State.

When we saw the Lodge we fell in love with it. The Decorating of the lodge, the large open space. Just beautiful.

Situated directly next to the Black Moshannon State Park which offers many outdoor activities: Hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, fishing, ice-fishing, ice-skating, hunting, and many educational activities. The Lodge has many conveniences of home. We provide a full size kitchen and appliances. Also provided are towels, linens, and bedding. the Lodge is equipped with a TV with access to Direct TV and a Hot Tub to relax in. The Lodge is also Pet friendly for a $25/Night Fee.
