Whether you're planning a fishing trip, a weekend getaway, or simply looking for a peaceful place to recharge, Butterfly Nook offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.

This charming open-floor-plan cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests with a queen-size bed and a full-size pullout sofa. The kitchenette is equipped for preparing light meals and snacks, while the spacious front porch provides a relaxing place to enjoy your morning coffee, watch the wildlife around the pond, or unwind after a day of exploring.

Spend your days boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, or chasing moonbows at Cumberland Falls, then return to the quiet surroundings of Laurel Lake Cabins. With local restaurants, shopping, and outdoor adventures just minutes away, Butterfly Nook makes an ideal home base for experiencing everything southeastern Kentucky has to offer.

A unique feature of Butterfly Nook is its private full bathroom, located just a few steps outside the back door. The bathroom is reserved exclusively for your cabin and is clearly shown in the listing photos.

Traveling with family or friends? Butterfly Nook is one of four cabins at Laurel Lake Cabins. Guests traveling in larger groups can also reserve Dragonfly Retreat, Bear Den, and Moose Lodge, allowing everyone to stay together while enjoying their own private space.

For guest safety and property security, exterior cameras are located at the front door, driveway, and pond areas. These cameras record video and may include audio (such as a smart doorbell). No cameras are present inside any cabin.

The cabin was super cute and the perfect size for my family. Very clean upon arrival. There were some puzzles for my daughter which was nice. Would stay here again for a quick lake trip!

My family recently stayed here and couldn’t be any happier! The layout of the cabins is perfect. Super cute, super affordable. The fishing pond kept us entertained for hours on end, it is stocked with catch and release. Rachel was very responsive with any questions we had. We will continue to book here to add to our current memories!

Adorable little cabin! Host made the stay easy and was very responsive to questions/needs. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

It’s a one room little cabin and it has a downstairs that is also rented out. Everything was clean. The only down side was u have to go out the back door to back deck to go to the bathroom. I don’t like going outside to get to the bathroom especially at night. The was the reason we didn’t stay the second night even though it was paid for. Other than that, it’s beautiful inside and out. No communication problems.

That's why we make every effort to clearly disclose it in multiple photos with descriptions showing that the private bathroom is located just outside the back door. Many guests enjoy the unique cabin layout, while others prefer a more traditional in-room bathroom arrangement, so we try to provide as much information as possible before booking to help guests determine whether the space is a good fit for their needs. Very clean, smaller cabin. Perfect for an overnight stay for 2 people and our dog. Cabin was set beside a pond and had partial fencing around, especially by road side which was nice to help keep pet safe. There was a main road with decent amount of traffic. Cabin also had a rental space underneath and could sometimes hear tenant below. Bathroom is right outside of the cabin, on covered back porch. Bathroom stocked with towels and soaps. Host was wonderful, friendly and responded quickly.
