Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This scenic spot is a combination of the two suites known as The Palm Suite and Morning Glory Treetop Suite with pool. Allowing breath-taking ocean view and pool view, balcony, 2 private King suite bedrooms, 2 luxurious queen sized pull outs that will allow sleeping for up to 8 people, 2 full bathrooms with oversized showers, 2 full sized fully equipped kitchens all overlooking the outdoor kitchen and pool area below and the ocean view for 100 mile view. Community Beach below that is free of vendors and no cruise ship visitors
The Tree Top is a multi-level home set 350 meters above the beach a hill that allows over the Tree Tops view of the Ocean and the island of Utila on clear days! The property is built to 100% North American quality and features. Granite, marble, natural stone and porcelain ceramic tile are used throughout home and pool area. All the water is sustainability source of rain water collected from the roof and directed into a 24,000 gallon cistern. The water is then completely quadrupled filtered, and UV sterilized to better than bottle quality. This means every bit of water at the Tree Top is drinkable from every tap.
This is a secluded area surround with the beautiful jungle, just above the beach, between West Bay Beach and West End. It is just far enough to offer quiet and secluded get away, While being very close to West Bay and West End. The owner walks to West End or West Bay daily for his exercise routine. To Kimpton Grand Roatan is about 1.1 mile walk and to the Cafe De Paolo breakfast restaurant is about 1.3 miles walking the beach. The property is known as "the BANKS" for the original Island Owners surname was the Ebanks, Now names of Turtle Beach and Orchid Beach are also used.
The Tree Top has a Ford Escape and Toyota Corolla to rent if you like to explore more of the island.
Please remember electricity on the island is nearly four times the kilowatt cost of USA and Canada at USD$0.43 per KW. We want you to be comfortable but setting the A/C to 62 F or 16 C does not cool any faster but actually freezes the coils due to the high Humidity. 74 F to 80 F or 23 C 26 C is the best settings. Also please do not leave the A/C running when you leave. The mini-split AC is designed to cool only the room that is occupied. Please close the doors to the other rooms. Please use the pedestal fans and ceiling fans to circulate the conditioned air. Due to the humidity the doors have some warping some doors must be pulled to latch. We want to keep our rates affordable but $600+ electric costs per month drive up our rental rate.
Other things to note
Upgraded WIFI to 500MB Equipped with the latest state of the art fiber optic (best on the island) internet service through Maxx Comm, for years 10 MB was maximum, a year ago 50 MB was possible. The current included service is 500 MB.
Smoking only allowed in outdoor areas! Outdoors Only!
The owner is highly allergic to cigarette smoke. Please respect NO smoking inside.
Renting the single suite guests are limited to 4 but renting both suites the lockout door can be opened for a total of 8 guests.
