Hi! It was a nice stay. It would have been great if for that price there was toilet paper in the bathrooms, that was not a great surprise. There were some ants that came out under the bathtub area in the master bath upstairs, but otherwise we had a nice stay. I think we were the first people of the season so I realize that was why there weren't likely any staples there, etc.

We do note ahead of time that we provide a starter kit of essentials, and guests may need to bring additional items like toiletries. The property is beautiful and the private beach access is great! The pool was a little dirty and there was a pile of dirt left on the ground level. Also, the ground floor air conditioner did not work. I reached out and was told maintenance came out to fix it, but maintenance did not come. Overall very nice, but a lot of money for having to put our own sheets on at arrival and take off before departure.

Property location on the beach was great and size of home was what we needed for our group, but the presentation was far from great. Upon arrival, multiple guest rooms were dirty and not fully clean. The kitchen trash can was splattered with previous trash residue and the countertops were unclean. On the ground level, the middle bedroom had water leaking in from the outside wall. The pool appeared to be cracked structurally (dipping towards the dunes) and did not fill up entirely so there was two steps uncovered by water when stepping into the pool. Parking is not designed for groups with multiple cars as the driveway is shared with the neighbor and very tight. At this price point and quality I would not recommend this beachfront home.

We came with a large group, originally planning for 20 people. The house was great. It was big enough, with a few varieties of bedroom/bed lay-outs. While I do not know the Outer Banks well, we thought the location was great. Parking more than 3-4 cars could be iffy. Access to the ocean was ideal! Nature is going to do what nature does, so expect a little sand in the pool and nature's wear and tear. We booked it knowing it was pricey, but we planned for the house to serve as the center of the vacation. There is a pool, hot tub, private ocean access, a game room, a kitchen. So we knew we wouldn't have many other expenses since the house had it all. I reached out to the host more than once, trying to figure out what we could expect to find when we arrived at the house. We were driving from the Midwest, so the more kitchen supplies and beach gear the house already had, the less we had to haul across the USA. The answers I got from the host made us expect it would be sparsely appointed and, if we wanted something, we should bring it with us or buy it there. So we brought all sorts of stuff we did not need. The house had everything!! I understand that prior guests might be leaving some things that the host cannot promise will be there, but a little more info on roughly what guests should expect would have been helpful. Don't haul your stuff from home. Get there first and check it out. The house and property are great.

The location and amenities were perfect. The property was a little dated. The pool needs to be updated and we experienced ants in a room on the ground level. This is still a good choice for a family vacation.

Great location and great accommodations. I thought it was cheap not to provide toilet tissue hand soap and dishwasher detergent. For the price you charge that should have been included.
