Cute and comfortable house with enough room for group. There anre all the necessities, plus some extras. Great location for events and activities in Marietta. We walked to town several times to enjoy great restaurants and an art festival. Thanks so much, John! We’ll be sure to stay at your place the next time we’re in town.

This house is very clean and decorated nicely.The beds and chairs were all comfortable.The kitchen is open and spacious but I found it to be sparsely stocked.Because if the nature of our stay we did not need to cook and eat there, but if we did more utensils, dishes and cookware would have been needed.We enjoyed staying at the house and our host was great! He responded very quickly to our messages and met all of our needs.

There was one bothering situation with the spare bathroom tub. The tub has a downward slope towards the drain. It is very slippery when wet. Just saying, might want to get a mat for the tub to stand on. Thanks for the hospitality.

John the host was excellent and took care of an air conditioning issue in no time at all. Also checked in after it was fixed to make sure everything was still working properly. 15 minute walk through a nice neighborhood to Marietta Square was a bonus. 20 minute drive to the baseball fields in East Cobb. Comfortable home with a lot of space. Only criticism would be the pillows for the beds are not great and I was caught flat footed when I found that there was no soap and shampoo in the showers. Not a deal breaker but I have become accustomed to that being provided in other VRBO rentals. Bottom line a comfortable clean place to stay in a very good location with an excellent host.

John was a good host. Im not sure if we had a mix up on our arrival date/time, but we didnt have entry instructions upon our arrival. We called VRBO support and John quickly got in touch with us and provide a code to get in and quickly replied to all our messages.This is an older house that has been very nicely redone. All the beds were very comfortable, rooms were spacious. We originally booked this thinking one of our adult kids/spouses might join us, but they didnt, so we had the whole 3 bedroom place to our selves. The master bath is a bit tight, but totally functional. We both like the shower.Another review mentions the kitchen was a bit sparse, and while we found that to be true, it was not an issue. All the essentials were there. The biggest negative is the icemaker in the fridge doesnt have a water line attached, so bring a bag of ice! We bought and left some old school ice cube trays. Also no wine glasses.I have a very mixed feeling about the location. We lived in Marietta for almost 40 years, about 3 miles from this house. You can not beat its proximity to the Marietta Square and all the restaurants there. My wife and friend walk there one day for lunch. However, the neighborhoods southwest of the Marietta square are older. Johns house is totally redone and very nice, but not every street on his street is, so we felt like the neighborhood may be less than desirable. We didnt have any issues.

The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances looked fairly new and operated as expected, however the refrigerator ice maker did not have a water line attached and there were no ice trays available so we had to purchase some ice, not a big deal. There are a lot of cats and barking dogs in the area but we were greated with waves and hellos by the friendly neighbors.
