Really great host. They left nice Valentine’s Day candy for us as a welcome. Very responsive and easy to work with.

Overall, our stay was okay. The home was comfortable, in a safe neighborhood, and the location was excellent…only about 20 minutes from downtown Houston. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. Check in was scheduled for 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:30 after a 6 hour drive, the cleaning crew was still there because, apparently the previous guests had left the home in poor condition. While I understand that unexpected delays happen, it would have been nice to receive a heads up beforehand. We ultimately weren’t able to access the property until about 2 hours after the scheduled check in time. The backyard was also in rough shape, which was disappointing since we were traveling with our dog. Thankfully, the neighborhood has plenty of walking trails and grassy areas that made up for it.

I loved that dogs can stay! The house was so nice! Whatever trouble we had we told the host and they replied quick. A little things the cleaning team needs to work out in some areas, nothing too bad. However, overall we enjoyed our stay! We went for a religious festivity and will definitely book again if we need to stay close to the NRG Center! We also check out super late due to the last event however the host super understanding and not too crazy check out fee. A super plus is that there is a park closed to the house within walking distance where I took my dogs to potty! They loved it!

This property would have gotten a better rating, except there were dirty/moldy dishes in the dishwasher. There was odd rug and furniture placement that caused a lot of trip hazards in livingroom and master. The electric outlets were loose so the chargers kept falling out. There were monitors in the rooms, but no computer or cables, so tv options were limited. There were also partially used bars of soap in the showers and expired food in the pantry and fridge.The beds and house were comfortable, and once the backyard is complete it will be great for kids and pets. It was also odd to run in to the homeowner during checkin. Host were accommodating to allow us to check in early and responsive communication from them.

I’m very sorry about the dishes and pantry items you mentioned; that’s not the standard we hold ourselves to, and I’ve already addressed this with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We’ve also begun the process for updating outlet plates. An electrician should be by today to make sure those will have USB and USB-C connections available in addition to regular new plugs. I’m glad to hear you found the beds and house comfortable and that you enjoyed the early check-in and communication. The house smells like a big dog was sleeping there before we arrived. Febreezed the entire house, wet linen in the dryer. Can’t use the garage. Roof has holes. Back yard needs attention. Microwave was no turn plate. Oven was dirty. The internet went out at midnight Sunday morning. We worked with it took me all night to get that terrible smell out

We love taking evening walks with our daughter and our dog, especially on the nearby trail just a few minutes from the house. It’s one of those hidden-gem neighborhoods you don’t hear about, but once you’re here, it feels like home.
