The location was close to everything we wanted to do in the area, so we were happy to stay here. You can walk to the business district in Mamaroneck. There was convenient parking on the street. Worked well for us!

Not as nice as the photos. The front door of the complex was broken and not secure. Lock box with key inside already had the code entered and therefore not secure. The apartment was “clean” but needs a lot of work. Overall experience was below average. Would not book again

Apartment was adequate for a weekend stay outside NYC. Was easy to park on the street. Would probably suggest to future guests to not park behind the building (no signs but for residents only), how the apartment door locks (doorknob didn’t need a key), and since there were two lockboxes on the railing inside the building, perhaps mark the lockbox or indicate which one belongs to the property. Overall was a good stay.

The property is exactly what is looks like. A few issues to keep in mind. There are some parking restrictions that you have to be aware of. I had to park a block away and walk to the apartment several times. It was a short walk. For people with mobility issues this could be problematic. There were two issues we encountered during our stay. On our second night my wife was in the shower and the neighbors started banging on the door telling us their apartment was flooding due to a leak. I then had to drive almost 30 minutes to go shower at a Planet Fitness. Considering it was after 11pm, this was not how I wanted to spend my evening. Vrbo customer support told me to just use the shower and disregard the neighbors. It was a wild thing for them to say. The Host had the issue fixed the next morning. Unfortunately, that didnt save me from an hour of driving in the middle of the night for a shower. That same night I noticed an ant on my bag in the living room. I didnt think much of it. The next day there were more ants. A lot more. We ended up placing our belongings on chairs in the living room to keep the ants away. I imagine if we stayed longer it would have been a bigger issue. The property was surprisingly quite and the neighbors were kind and friendly (when we weren't flooding their homes). The host addressed the water issue quickly. This is an inexpensive and conveniently located property. Its worth the minor inconvenience, so long as they address the issue with the Ants.

We were never aware of ants issue, we do address issues quickly and would have addressed that too since this is the first time we are hearing about it. Unfortunately we can’t control everything but whenever a situation arises we rush to get it fixed. I’m surprised with VRBO response though and will be addressing it with them for sure.

Great location - very close to trails and the mamaroneck station / downtown area. Be aware that many parks are for residents only or paid. The apartment was well equipped for the most part and dog friendly (many other dogs in the building).
