Make yourself at home in this charming 1-bedroom Cedar Falls retreat. With amenities like a washing machine, WiFi, heating, and AC, guests can relax and unwind in this cozy barn. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our superb property.
Take some time to literally smell the roses. Walk around barefoot if you like, (we do have dogs so watch where you step :/ ) pick veggies from the garden or fruit from the trees. Throw the ball for the dogs and they'll love you forever.
Relax on the patio or in the hot tub behind the house. Make yourself a fire and cook s'mores. Maybe you just want to sleep the day away, that's fine too.
We offer discounts of 20% for traveling nurses, teachers, and service members whether it's just for the night or for the week.
Being a teacher myself, I would like to help the other teachers out there that are just trying to make it, paycheck to paycheck.

Exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable. Host very accommodating, and surrounding property is very spacious. Am a little torn because I want to make sure everyone knows it's a great place to stay, but at the same time want to keep it my own secret so it's available whenever I want to go back!

Everything was awesome!!! Comfy bed, hot tub accommodations were relaxing and peaceful. It was so comfortable. I loved that there was a snack and beverage option via Venmo, had we been able to stay longer than a sleep it really would have come in handy. Easy check in and awesome host communication. Definitely recommend.

WOW!!! Coming from busy Central Florida into such a peaceful laid-back atmosphere was a real treat. A totally cozy comfortable setting nestled at the end of a Lane of hickory trees, The view across miles of farmland really sets the pace for peace and quiet. There is a stove and fully loaded kitchen if you want to cook but for us it is only about seven or eight miles from some very decent restaurants, Shannon was the best host you could ask for! He is close by but right there if needed.

My husband and I stayed overnight for our anniversary. The place was beautiful and serene. We enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the sunset from the patio area. Our hosts were lovely and we even got to say hello to their sweet dogs. Wonderful experience!

This is an awesome place! If you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities (which are also very close if needed) this would be it. Place was clean and very well deocated. Had everything you would need. Shannon was very friendly and accommodating. Dogs were also very friendly! We only stayed one night but it is definitely something I would do again!

This place is perfect! Super comfy bed, everything exactly like the pictures show and description reads, and Shannon is awesome! And the dogs.....oh the dogs are just so friendly! We couldn't have asked for a better getaway than right here! Planning the next one here soon! If I could rate 10 star, I would! Book it now! You will not be disappointed!

This sweet little getaway spot was everything I needed for a 2-day conference nearby. It sports rustic charm and peace and quiet. The kitchen had everything I needed for my first night’s meal (subsequent meals were had away from property). The host offered a variety of snacks, drinks, or even frozen burritos or pizza for purchase by Venmo. The bathroom was clean and the shower had a built in seat. There were also lovely items available in both the shower and bathroom caddy. I didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked lovely. There is also a smart tv with streaming available and an in-unit air conditioner with remote that kept it nice and cool (and I’m super picky about it being pretty cool). The dogs were also lovely—I asked to meet them and they were all friendly and sweet. I had no issues during my stay but if I had, I know without question that the host would’ve helped resolve it immediately.

From the moment we got there to the minute we left we had a wonderful experience! The location is lovely. The host was so kind. The little red barn is so, so cute! It had everything we needed and wanted! The addition of the hot tub and details to make the experience wonderful! We will definitely be back!

This barn was originally built for our chicken, horse, goats and sheep. It was awesome, but we’ve decided to change it up a bit and make it a retreat for people to stay and enjoy the outdoors.
