Fabulous House With Luxurious Outdoor Space: Patio, Outdoor Fireplace, Front & Back Porches! Steps from event venue 'Brockington Hall' as well as Forsyth Park & The Mansion. A beautifully renovated townhouse in Historic Downtown Savannah! This property has been completely updated with beautiful high end finishes for your comfort and enjoyment. The owners have skillfully preserved historic features throughout such as mantles and molding that are especially ornate and memorable.

Sleeping arrangement consist of two spacious King bedrooms each with TV and a back door leading to the side porch that is private for this rental.

The living room, dining and kitchen are one large open area. This is a great setup for socializing! The gorgeous high end outdoor space is the crowning jewel of this property. Enjoy a working outdoor fireplace during the 9 or so months out of the year when Savannah can surprise you with a cold evening.

There is one Full Bath which is spacious with high end finishes. There is also a spacious Half Bath. Both bathrooms are conveniently located off the hallway between bedrooms for all members of your party to use.

A popular wedding/event venue 'Brockington Hall' is 1.5 blocks from this home. The surrounding amenities include a major well stocked grocery store (1 block away), a luxury day spa (3 blocks away), tennis courts (at Forsyth), a gourmet health food store (at the South end of Forsyth) and many fabulous restaurants (700 Drayton, Leoci's Trattoria, Local 11Ten) within a few blocks of the home.

his is a lower level single story unit. There are some stairs to the main entrance but no interior staircase is present
Capacity is 4 adults but we sleep two extras under 18 on the pull out sofa in the living room.

Parking was a challenge at times given the busy nature of the street and city workers trucks. TV in the living room is very small making it difficult for common area and kitchen was sparsely equipped. Courtyard was not well lit and a little dingy at night. Upstair neighbors can be loud and heavy footed depending on the group. Location is good very near grocery and neighborhood coffee shop and bakery. Convenient to historic district and downtown Savannah.

The pictures and property name ("Porch Lovers Dream") are deceiving. The inside is dark & there was an odor. The front porch is not inviting. The property manager was defensive and argumentative when I provided feedback. There are better places to stay, IMO.

We stayed one night with my family, it was very convenient the location. The house was comfortable, according my mother (87 y o). I , personally think that the house is pretty and well decorated. It made our visit better.

Great location. Everything was well appointed. The home was very clean and comfortable. Needed to offer a variety of the local tourist information that are more detailed than what was provided. Also needed more detailed information on hoe to use the heat/ AC.

Historic Savannah

We had a wonderful time in Savannah. The property was perfect for our stay. It was close enough to walk everywhere and we did. We also enjoyed returning in the afternoon to sit and enjoy the porch. Talking with people that walked by and other people staying in the area. If you like the look of the beautiful old houses of Savannah, you will enjoy staying at this charming property.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this charming historic home. The house was a beautiful well preserved piece of history with all the modern amenities. The location was perfect and close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to other fellow travelers. I wish we would have had more time to relax and enjoy our time here.

Perfect Vacation

My family and I visited Savannah from Charleston for my wife's birthday. The central location was perfect. It was very easy to find after coming over the bridge, was walking distance to Forsyth park and there was a grocery store one block away. The coffee shop at the end of the street couldn't be cuter and was a great way to start the day. The home was clean, spacious and the porches/back patio area were a perfect way to end each evening. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

This was an absolutely fantastic property, we were incredibly happy with our stay here! Our family vacation was to tour historic Savannah and to go to Tybee Island for beach days. This house is within walking distance for all things in downtown Historic Savannah. There’s even a Kroger within quick walking distance! We had our two children, ages 9 and 11, with us and they managed the walking just fine. The one time we drove and parked downtown we used the Park Savannah app to pay for parking. Tybee Island was about a 30 minute drive away. We used the Park Tybee app to pay for parking. The rental is well stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities and the whole unit was really clean! There’s a washer and dryer in the unit. Both beds slept well and there were plenty of pillow choices. There’s a welcome notebook in the living room with instructions and recommendations. I can’t say enough good things about this property, not the rental itself and its location! 10/10 would recommend and we will absolutely stay here again if we travel back to Savannah!

Property was very clean and spacious. Loved the historical aspect of it. Only complaint is home could use some more furnishishings and a bigger tv in the living area. Very few places to sit comfortably and tv is pretty small.

Great house in perfect location

We absolutely loved this house! It was spacious and clean! Loved having access to the porches - it made for perfect relaxation!! Both bedrooms has plenty of space and extra blankets & pillows. Lots of towels in the bathroom. Well equipped kitchen, which we didn't use because the food in Savannah is exceptional!! This location is within walking distance to many attractions, including Forsyth Park!! I would highly recommend staying at this home!

Wonderful home for 2 couples!

The house was conveniently located only 2 short blocks from a large grocery story and 4 block from the beautiful Forsyth Park. We appreciated the information about things to do in Savannah. Using the digital concierge’s board we were able to book a hop on hop off trolley tour of the city for the same price as online and we were even picked up at the house and transported to the tour start. Overall a wonderful home and would stay here again.

Reconnecting with family!

This place was amazing! When we were there, we spent almost all our time on the front porch! We had some laughs and tears there! Savannah is just gorgeous and has that laid back vibe. We enjoyed all the shops, river walk, city market, frsh seafood and all the museum's. We also mastered the DOT transportation! Just a extremely great time! Would recommend this porch lovers dream to anyone!

Moms bday girls trip

We came from Florida and loved the welcoming very large porch with swing upon arrival, need more lighting at night time though. The back area and deck off bedroom also nice features to enjoy the outdoors. Location was awesome with front free street parking at all times. The cafe on corner was amazing and not to be missed. Forsythe park is quick walk and the best of the squares to see. The house was clean, organized. It was missing tissues and instructions for tv remotes. We had 3 TVs which was nice! We had great weather and enjoyed our time here and we definitely recommend and stay again! Thx you

Adorable historic house

My sister and I went to Savannah for her 40th birthday. This adorable house/townhouse was clean and had everything you needed. It is a 25 min walk to the riverfront but only a 4-5 min Uber drive. We rented a car o be able to go to Tybee beach which was only 25 min away so was very well located. Big front porch to spend mornings and evenings was perfect, even got some rain one night and still able to sit out there. I didn’t realize didn’t have access to upstairs balcony, but that was my mistake. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall great but wifi slow and...

I would give 5 stars except for two things: The wifi was slow or even gone at times...frustrating when we had to get some work done (and no TV).Also, it was cold out and the heat was VERY loud...it woke me up every time it came on during the night plus the thermostat was difficult to understand...at first it seemed to be preset to heat to 78 which was too hot for us...better instructions in the home folder would be helpful. Otherwise it was clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great area for walking to museums, restaurants and all of the historic district.

Perfect Location In Savannah

If you are planning a trip to Savannah with a party of 4-5, you could not select a more perfect rental and location. The unit is an updated, clean and very large apartment in an older home in the historic district. There is a beautiful shared front porch complete with a hanging swing along with a private back porch and an expansive shared back courtyard complete with a wood burning fireplace. If you are into walking anywhere from 1-2 miles and/or biking you are well within being able to visit most of the heart of Savannah and many historic sites (e.g. Forsythe Park). There is plenty of free street parking as well as a wonderful bakery/teahouse at the end of the block (Mate' Factor) and Kroger just across the street from Mate' Factor. All other wonderful sites are within a very short drive (e.g. Wormsloe Park, Bonaventure Cemetery). Savannah is a beautiful city with tons of history, fabulous food and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. After a fun day of sightseeing, this is a great place to sit on the front/back porches and/or the courtyard and enjoy a favorite libation. When ready to end the night, either of the king beds in the two bedrooms make for a very comfortable and restful night. We highly recommend the rental unit.
