1BR 1BA Lake Home on quiet semi-private lake 21 feet deep with 5 acres of wooded land. No public access to lake. 32x10 Covered Porch overlooking the Lake. Come unwind after a day of ATV riding - trail minutes away. Thousands of acres public hunting land - Narrow Gauge 5 miles east. Yellow River Game Farm 2 miles. Excellent fishing and recreational lakes within 10 miles. Laundry onsite.

Thanksgiving Stay

This is a cozy little cabin and it was the right size for us. We were visiting family in Cumberland, so it was close enough. Due to county regulations, they cannot provide any food, condiments, etc. so be sure to bring everything you need. This is a great spot for 2-3 people, and your dog!

Relaxation

Feels like your away from everything but you're not. 5 minutes to food & beverage in Barronett. Short drive to great supper club (5 O'Clock Somewhere). 15 minutes to Cumberland for more food, beverages and gas.

Beautiful Cabin!

This was our second stay at this cabin, and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. Cabin is stocked well, very clean, large rooms and the outdoor porch area is great to take in all the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Also close to nearby towns for hiking, ATV trails and restaurants. We will be back again!

Great WI Getaway

This is our second year staying at Kathy’s place and we always love it. It is a great, quiet location yet close to all the fun the NW WI has to offer. The cabin is on a lovely shaded lot and is just as described. It has everything you’ll need for a nice stay. We definitely plan to come back again!

Perfect

This cabin was perfect. Our family (2 adults, 2 teenage daughters) were able to have our own space to unwind during the busy weekend of our niece's wedding. There was plenty of space and enjoyed sitting on the front porch. This was a much better option for us vs. the hotel and we will certainly keep this in mind for future visits!

Very nice, well maintained 1 bedroom cabin. Easy to find, easy to access, and located with 10-15 min drive of whatever amenties you might need.

Relaxing location

This was a delightful place to stay! It was very neat and clean. The location was very relaxing; we enjoyed seeing and hearing the swans in the nearby lake. I would have only liked to have had a casserole dish and a fan for the living room; yet we did fine without either. Ww had a great week here. 😀 would have

We look forward to coming back

Went for a long weekend with the husband and our 2 kids (11and 6) to see the Lumberjack championship and enjoy a day on a lake. It was great, it was like “glamping” to me. The AC worked perfectly and it was EXTREMELY CLEAN! There’s some steep inclines outside and the dock was a bit wobbly so I wouldn’t bring any toddlers. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Look into the neighboring lakes, rent a boat and enjoy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very secluded, private, and refreshing

First impressions upon arrival were that the property was very clean, quaint, quite, and secluded. The property is not very far off of the road, but there was very little road traffic so road noise was non-existent. The property was stocked with essentials (towels, wash rags, silverware, some cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans). I suggest you bring along any cooking spices or seasonings you might like to use, but we did find garlic salt, salt, and pepper which was all we needed. The outdoor gas grill worked great to make some hamburgers one night. There is no dishwasher, which was not a problem as we used paper plates and only had to wash the dishes we cooked with. The bed was very comfortable, and the pull out bed in the living room worked great for our daughter. The internet worked great to stream the Olympic games during our stay, and it was nice that our cell phone provider did have 5G service (we use ATT). Shell Lake is a 12 minute drive to the north, and a couple of days were spent at the beach enjoying the sun and waves. There were plenty of cute shops, ice cream shops, and restaurants nearby. Spooner was about 25 minutes to the north and is the closest larger town/city to have your regular fare of grocery store and gas station / convenience store. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Perfect place to relax

The cabin was perfect and the grill and outdoor space was very relaxing. It is also in close proximity to little shops and restaurants.

Great Getaway Spot

This little cabin was a great getaway spot. It was tucked away from any main roads and very private. The cabin is just right for 2 people with all the right amenities. Very clean, updated and well-stocked. We'd hoped to use the pond but as mentioned from other renters, the mosquitos were pretty aggressive. That didn't prevent us from using the large front porch and grill thought. It's also a short drive to some very cool little towns with shops, restaurants and other activities should you want to explore. I highly recommend this quiet lake home if you want to get away.

Cute quiet cabin.

Clean quiet cabin, perfect for a weekend stay. The mosquitos were quite bad which forced us inside but it was otherwise peaceful.

We built this home in 2010. It is on a slab with in floor heat. Mostly wood interior walls and ceiling with custom Hickory cabinets. Our son lived here for three years and since then has moved. This is a special place to us and we want to share with you. If you enjoy quiet settings, this place is for you. You can travel 10 miles north or south to Cumberland or Shell Lake/Spooner area. The view all year around is beautiful. Green trees in the spring/summer and in the fall the colors are unbelievable.
