Great location, great lay out with good amenitiesSome bed sheets were not %100 clean. The instruction provided in the binder regarding the Wi Fi were not accurate & the communication by the customer agent was not helpful although the issue was eventually resolved.

Amazing cottage. Group of friends came out to Qualicum from the mainland for the weekend. Check in was smooth and the place was very clean! Our stay was perfect! Communication with Donna (our host) was fantastic. We had a situation prior to our stay and she did everything she could to make sure it was resolved (although it was an issue through VRBO and NOT the host/owner).Although you have your own cottage, the house is part of a residential gated community. The people staying in cottages around us seemed very kind and we didn’t feel out of place at all. It is so beautiful! Beds were comfy and bathrooms were very clean. In fact, the entire house was immaculate! We will definitely stay here again if it works out.I will be writing a “ negative” review about VRBO separately on the VRBO site as I don’t want to say much on here as it was NOT the host and I do not want to overshadow their positive review. However, what I will say is MAKE SURE you confirm the cost of your VRBO rental. Make note of the dates they charge your credit card! I had an awful experience and will never book VRBO again. If you want to book this property, maybe try to find it elsewhere …? I looked back at all previous rentals through elsewhere and confirmed that I have never been overcharged or duped… only through VRBO. Anyway.. this place is amazing and if you can find a way to rent it DO IT!
