Located on a hill with sweeping panoramic views overlooking Tamarindo Bay, yet just steps from the ocean, Casa Papaya is a three story custom home with 5 bedrooms equipped with 3 king size beds and 2 queen size beds with fans & a/c, 3.5 baths, entry lobby with coffered wood ceilings, large kitchen with island & bar, local hand carved hardwood doors and headboards, wood windows, 2 large decks with teak furniture, secure 2 car parking . Casa Papaya boasts a very large private pool area with a pool rancho . Casa Papaya offers complete comfort for up to 5 couples plus 1 . With 3 king size beds and 2 queen size beds and 1 single bed choosing a room will be no problem . Casa Papaya recently upgraded with new air conditioning through out makes every single room very confortable even during the hottest months of the year .

Casa Papaya provides maid service and laundry service. Beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, gift shops, bars and nightclubs are all minutes away by foot. Casa Papaya is the perfect vacation getaway. Of interest to surfers special surf trips & boat trips may be arranged. For golfers two signature, world class 18 hole golf course’s are a 15 minute drive away.

Perfect home and location for a mixed age group. Space and activities for everyone. Wonderful staff. Couldnt have asked for anything more.

Beautiful Oasis!!!!!

Everything about our trip was 5 star! Working with the team of managers, including Carolina and the entire staff at Casa Papaya was a delight. So accommodating! We loved the location. The house and the beautiful gardens surrounding the home were lush. Everything was very clean and tidy at all times. We had such a great time thanks to Casa Papaya and everyone we came into contact with in Tamarindo! Thank you!

Great house and location

Brian and his team were amazing from start to finish. Brian went out of hus way right at checkin to accomodate a request from one of our family members. Ricardo, Angie, Diana and others were super friendly and did a great job keeping the place spotless including laundry and dishes. The house is very close to everything. The kids really loved the 2 pools and spent as much time in those as they did at the beach.

Papaya House

We absolutely loved staying here, it was close to everything we needed to be close to and very close to the main strip of town. We loved the pool and felt we had everything we needed at the house to ensure a great vacation! Highly recommend to a big (8-10) group of people!

Fantastic 10 day stay @ Casa Papaya, Tamarindo!

The property was even better than it seemed online. The staff was wonderful and the location was central to everything! Brian was great helping us with any questions we had;)

Casa Papaya is Amazing

Incredible house with multiple balconies, big rooms, comfortable beds, and an unreal pool with a waterfall! The house is huge, extremely well cared for and the service was amazing. Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. The surfing there is awesome! We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to stay at Casa Papaya!

A slice of paradise!

We loved everything about our stay. Our favorite things were the jacuzzi on the balcony, pool oasis outside, and the location! We could walk everywhere in a few minutes. We really loved having morning coffee while watching the neighborhood Monkeys and squirrels

Paradise!

It’s hard to describe how lovely the property actually is. The pictures cannot capture it. Besides the high-quality furnishings and all the extras, there is an excellence in the design of the property that invites you to come…. Take the load off… relax and enjoy life. Brian and his team are professional and excellent in what they do. Ricardo and the team that manage maintenance of the house gave us a beautiful example of the Costa Rican culture and hospitality. Whatever we needed , he helped finding the right people or giving great suggestions. The location of the house is very convenient. It is walking distance to supermarkets, pharmacy, liquor store, all types of restaurants, the beach, the surf shops, etc. our favorite restaurants for a nice evening out with original crafted cocktails: L' Estanco El Jardin Escondido. Yes, eventhough it’s walking distance to all of these things, we were not bother by noise at any time in the intimacy that this house provides. So, If you’re looking to stay in Tamarindo, this is the place. Bravo!

Amazing house!

Amazing house! Perfect location and great house for 2 families….kids loved the pool! The house has everything you need to have a great stay. Brian was extremely responsive and his staff was super helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks for having us.

Just amazing!!

Amazing house walking distance to everything. The garden is so spectacular that you just dont want to leave the property! Clean and well furnished, that property made us feel at home. Brian and Carolina were very helpful with sny question we had. Angie and Ricardo made our stay so much easier, thx!! We wil definitively come back! François and family

Pictures don't do it justice.

Such an amazing property. It's really hard to do it justice with pictures, but our group agreed it was hands down the best place we'd ever stayed. The location was also perfect for heading out and checking out all tamarindo had to offer.

Excellent on all levels

Great experience all the way around. The in-house staff was awesome. Highly recommend having them cook breakfast and afternoon appetizers. Good location for going to the beach and Restaurants. Having a golf cart was key.

Perfect stay

Casa papaya, was the perfect place to stay for our trip. First of all the Brian the property manager and all the staff that work there are great and so helpful. They really make sure you don’t need to worry about anything while you are there so you can just relax and enjoy yourself. The house is huge, plenty of space everywhere. Lots of great balconies and the plunge pool off the kitchen was amazing and super convenient. The bathrooms are all a good size with ample shelf space. The bedrooms are all great size and room in each one for luggage and storage with safes in reach room which is a nice feature. The kitchen is large and plenty of counter space and they have all your basic kitchen needs.the had lots of towels which is great and beach chairs and boogie boards for you to use. The house is super convenient and a short walk to the beach otherwise a nice quick golf cart ride which I highly suggest to rent one as they are super convenient and parking closer to beach can be tough. You have a grocery store walking distance from house along with a bank and also lots of restaurants such as the green papaya which is always a must stop (fyi they only take cash). We also tried Trio as well which was great and la baula for our last night and pizza was perfect. Would highly recommend casa papaya for friends or for family maybe not if you have a wondering toddler as there are lots of stairs. We would stay here again without question.

Slice of Pura Vida

This is an amazing place to stay for a large group staying in Tamarindo. This was the second time we’ve stayed here. We love having a private place but close to town. This property offers everything you need from comfortable bedrooms, cooking needs and private pool.

Retreat in Tamarindo

The house is nice retreat in busy Tamarindo. The pool and grounds are beautiful, making it a great place to just hang out. There's no dishwasher but the cleaning staff came everyday and cleaned up after us.

Perfect location

This house is beautiful!!! It is the perfect location to town & the beach. We could not imagine a more perfect vacation. We got Miguel as a chef for two meals, worth every penny! Did a Catamaran ride with Marina Del Ray, seeing the sunset from the water was breathtaking. Highly recommend Dragon Fly & Bamboo Sushi. We rented golf carts and that made it very easy to get around and check out the town. Brian & Carolina were so great to work with throughout the entire process. We cannot wait to be back!!!! Pura Vida y’all.

Amazing location and amazing views

Casa Papaya is amazing! Brian and Ricardo and staff took care of us for 10 days. The house has amazing views and Howler monkeys come by on the trees each morning that’s fun and exciting to watch. Iguanas hang out and I’m in the backyard. We were a party of nine- with teens and adults and everyone loved it. Rent golf carts to get around and it’s super easy! Great surfing, mangrove boat tour and more walking distance. Wonderful restaurants. We love Tamarindo and Casa Papaya is the perfect place to stay!

The house / property was absolutely great; the pictures don't do it justice. The staff was awesome!! The location is perfect. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The whole experience exceeded my (our) expectations.

Casa Papaya

We had a great time at Casa Papaya. We loved the large living and kitchen areas and the pool. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no comfortable seating. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were plentiful. Thank you for a great time.

Perfect for our extended family

The place was great! Lots of space, super pool area and a great location (close to everything, but far enough that the noise at night wasn't an issue). The two most impressive things were the maintenance staff and the well appointed kitchen. The cleaning staff show up every day and deep clean the entire place. There were some minor issues, and they showed up to fix them right away (even replacing a ceiling fan completely). We like to cook, and the kitchen had everything you need to do so properly. The property was beautiful and you could tell that the property management knew what they were doing. Highly recommend! We hope to go back with other couples next time.
