Lovely place in a very quiet area. Clean and spacious. Pretty view of the ocean and great deck to enjoy the sounds of the sea, the birds, and the peace of Hawaii. We will stay again, if possible. Thank you Kevin.

From arrival to departure, a wonderful time in a great place.The location is excellent, with freshly appointed accomodations, and very comfortable.Kevin, our host, was very hospitable, thoughtful, and accomodating.The short walk to the beaches, along with sea turtle viewing is a beautiful bonus.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this Puako Beach residence. The house had all the amenities that we needed and was in a good location for the activities that we had planned. We recommend the Manta Ray experience! Kevin, our host, was communicative and answered quickly the questions that arose. We would stay at this house again. The porch is especially great with comfortable seating and a view of the ocean.

Property was beautiful! A bit hot late in the afternoon but overall very nicely appointed. We had everything we needed. Very clean.

We love Puako. And your place was comfortable and easy to enjoy. Surf sounds, birds flying and calling with us having front row seats on the deck

Everything about this trip/location/host/property was fantastic - the host was very responsive and kind, available if needed and easy to communicate with, the property was stocked with everything and more that we could have needed and very thoughtfully decorated/equipped for our trip. The property itself was amazing - the sounds and sight of the ocean every day is unbeatable, the location was perfect for our activities on Big Island, the quiet, solitude and peace were constant, great landscaping/decorating... the entire place felt comfortable and homey for the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone staying on BI and would definitely stay here again if available next time we are on BI. Thanks for a great trip!

Great location for snorkeling or diving. Hapuna Beach was a hit for the kids! 2 hours to Kilauea and Hilo. No A/C. Fridge has been replaced with a larger one from the welcome video which is great! Grilling on the deck was great. Mosquitos were definitely an issue in mid-April - so plan ahead with bug spray and don't plan on eating on the porch ;)Puako area has been overrun by sea urchins unfortunately due to overfishing (more urchins per sq/m than anywhere else in the world - sad state of affairs for our coral reefs these days but that has nothing to do with the property ;)

We loved this apartment and its location in Puako. The space was perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our own meals. We really loved the deck with the view and great seating areas. The beds were super comfy. It was very helpful to have big beach towels and umbrellas since we were traveling very light with only small carry-ons. I would highly recommend this property if you like a quiet, less touristy location. There are turtles in the bay across the street and really great beaches nearby. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with. He left us homemade cookies knowing we would be arriving very late at night. ;)
