Great Location

Nice home a couple blocks from the beach on a quiet cul-de-sac. The kitchen has everything you could need. This was our 2nd stay there.

Fun in the Wind

Friendly neighborhood, including the family of deer that came into our back yard every evening.....we had a great time in this sleepy bedroom community...even though the wind never stopped blowing. The Oregon Coast is something special, and this property is only 2 blocks from the beach; so check it out.

Somewhat Dissapointing

Your neighbor Carol was awesome, a great person to greet us and make us feel welcome. We loved being greeted by the local deer family as well, the location was exactly what was expected and loved being able to take daily walks. The house was pretty much as described but was still a disappointment. The house may sleep 8 however the social space would be hard pressed to accommodate that many. We had 3 adults and 2 children for one week of our month long stay and that was challenging. First of all there is not enough dishes to serve 8. The beverage glasses consisted mostly of empty jelly jars. The coffee pot is broken so it leaks. I realize this is a guest house but the pots and pans would have to be considered camper quality, not the level of other places in the VRBO network. The master bedroom is upstairs (a pretty steep climb) and it not private at all. It really feels like a loft area with a bed and bath. There is no door at the top of the stairs and the way the furniture is set up requires pre-planning when getting dressed not to be visible from the lower level. If Cynthia is paying for maintenance she is being grossly overcharged. The toilet in the master does not flush properly, it requires a second or third flush to get it to refill. Mike was able to fix it for us to use, but will require additional work. The transition piece between the kitchen and the living space is coming off so could be a problem with moisture getting under the flooring. It is loose near the wall so should not be a trip hazard but will eventually. The refrigerator is missing its handle, but you can locate it on top of the fridge. The lower cabinets hold the dishes in a drawer, but you have to line up the door exactly to get the drawer to pull out, and the handle on the drawer is forever falling apart. The table set up was pretty much worthless for us. The rungs on the bar stools fall off regularly, I am a tall person and yet they were extremely uncomfortable and unstable, The washer was very temperamental, you can't just start it and leave you have to wait a few minutes to make sure it really starts! The dryer must be costing them a fortune, it only heats on high for the first 20 minutes. Furniture was cabin quality, with coffee table falling apart. and it is time to replace the sofa's. It is a beautiful location and has great potential

I pride myself in keeping a clean, modern, well-appointed, tastefully decorated home. It's set up for casual living with private, comfortable, cheerful sleeping areas. The home is located in a safe, quiet cut-de-sac with friendly, helpful neighbors. Everyone loves my manager Carol. She is a gem, one of a kind and is obviously held in high regard. Timely communication is key. I am readily available through notification by my manager, phone, email, or text to address any questions you may have or to take care care of problems that may arise. There have been overwhelming positive verbal and written reviews. I purposely made my property the most affordable for long term stay. I will continue to make repairs, update when possible and keep my property clean, safe and comfortable.

Amazing Vacation!

Spectacular home and location with everything you need! The crab traps provided dungeness crab for dinner, the ping-pong matches were competitive, the location was perfect.

Perfect Ocean Paradise

I can not say enough good things about our stay at the Newport Ave rental in Bandon, Oregon! The home accommodates beautifully… As soon as we walk through the door we feel right at home!! The cleanliness and comfort are top notch…then we walk out the door and take the short walk to the most Beautiful ocean!! The climate in September is Perfect!! And it is also fun to see the visiting deer right through the living room window! Our stay at this property is always memorable and NEVER DISAPPOINTS!! The quiet culdesac is Beautiful and and All the people involved are simply the Best! Already looking forward to our next visit…….

It was a lovely stay! We had a lot of fun in Bandon, which was very beautiful. The bedroom and house were very nice and spacious. We would have liked if the bikes were operable—they were all flat.

Fantastic month in Heaven!

Wowwwwwwww!! We enjoyed our 2nd year in Bandon even more than our first!!!! If that is possible!! When we walk into our rental we feel immediately at home! Comfy and cozy with everything we could possibly need.... 2 blocks from the most beautiful spot on the ocean... my daily walks there were restorative! And my visits to the picturesque little town were full of good food and adventurous shopping.... Hubby is ever so happy to be fishing the Coquille River and when not fishing or crabbing we are driving to Wonderful Coos Bay or other beautiful destinations to the North.... it is hard to leave Heaven but we look forward to our next stay there....

Divine weather, Small Town Harbor, proximity to ocean and rivers is phenomenal! Walking and biking!

Loved renting this property!! Inviting, clean and cozy home has everything we needed to be comfortable! Proximity to Old Town Harbor, the ocean and the Coquille River was phenomenal and I enjoyed walking and riding my bike to all locations! Short drive to other destinations made this a perfect place to vacation! Oh, and the weather was perfect in September too!

Beautiful getaway

The house was warm and cozy and well furnished. Great location, just two blocks to the beach! Only thing that would have been a bonus was a baby gate for our 10 month old who loved to climb up the very steep staircase. We really enjoyed our month here, and Carol, the caretaker is lovely!! We'll be back!

Amazing place and awesome location!

Our family of 6 loved this home! It is close to the beach as well as the library and the neighborhood is so friendly. The home was clean and quiet and the internet was fast! We would definitely recommend this home to our friends and family!

Wonderful, Wonderful Wonderful

Bandon by the Sea has been the most wonderful experience! Hearing the ocean each night as we go to sleep, walking the beautiful neighborhood and meet the most wonderful people right next door. The quaint town is so very friendly and we enjoyed meeting and talking with many locals. You won't find a better place to stay. Clean, comfortable and beautiful home.
