Perfect for family getaways, group retreats or a weekend with friends, this spacious home blends historic charm with modern updates. With 9 beds, it comfortably sleeps 12 guests. Enjoy large gathering spaces, a screened porch, and a fire pit for relaxing and reconnecting. There’s something here for everyone!
Inside the Schoolhouse, you'll find thoughtful touches and modern comforts throughout. With 4 private sleeping spaces and 2 additional pullout couches, everyone has room to relax. The large dining table seats 8, perfect for shared meals or game nights.
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal at home, including coffee supplies to start your day right. Outside, fire up the gas grill to prepare your favorite cookout dishes.
Settle into the cozy sitting area by the big windows and browse through our collection of historic books, or kick back with a movie on one of the big screen TVs located in the master bedroom and both living rooms.
The spacious screened porch, with seating for 11+ guests, is ideal for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or catching up after a day at the lake. Just outside, the fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs invites you to unwind under the stars.

Our family lives just north of Madison, WI. We love visiting Devil's Lake to hike, rock climb and swim and are excited to give folks a comfy place to stay while they explore the area.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The Schoolhouse was built in the 1800's and has so much history to share. Although it's been renovated, some of the original character remains. The slate chalkboards, desks, bathroom signs and stairs are all original. A book at the property shows the history and development of the school over the past 150 years.
