Very nice

It's as good as it gets here, pool area was used daily. Close to Disney and Wallmart for supplies could not have been any better.

Excellent Family House Close to Disney

We had a lovely long weekend at this lovely home. Everything was as depicted in the pictures, and the property manager was communicative and gracious. You can’t beat the location and the amenities. It was the perfect spot to explore nearby amusement parks and also to you have space to relax and enjoy the family. Highly recommend!

Great location and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windsor Hills. The house was very spacious and suited our needs. We had a few hiccups with the pool and the door; however, what could be resolved was resolved. We appreciated the attentiveness.

the only complaints we have are the shower heads in the 2 master bedrooms.as well, we did not appreciate the exterminators entering the house in our absence. we had no notice that anyone was coming in.

True to the Setting

Plenty of room for us 8 adults and 2 children. Matt & Kate, your home was a perfect setting for our Family Vacation. Away from the heavy traffic, yet close to just about everything... shopping, dining, Disney. Glad we decided on the heated pool 😊... Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Stay - Highly Recommend!

The property was just as you see in the pictures. Received all instructions on checking in and had no issues. We had some relatives who live in Florida come and stay as well and they made their check-in and car registration a breeze. The house was clean and comfortable. Pool was used every day!! It's location is extremely convenient to tons of restaurants, stores and especially all the Disney and Universal Parks. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Awesome house and great location

Me, my wife, and our 3 kids stayed at this property for a spring break trip to Disney and couldn't have been happier with it. The pool was great, everything was SOOOO clean, and description of the property was spot on. We didn't take advantage of all the Windsor Hills amenities, but they looked like fun too. Really nothing that I would change about the place. A/C worked fine; kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels, washer/dryer was in great shape. Can't go wrong here.

Lovely Rental near Disney Parks

The location of this home made visiting the Disney parks very easy. The home is well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware etc. There was nothing we needed that wasn't supplied. I especially appreciated the large washing machine. The manager of the property, Matthew, communicated with us immediately with any questions we had. Very nice to work with him. The community pool was a big hit with the grandchildren. I would rent this home again if our travels bring us back to Orlando.

Great house for the price. Close to Disney

We enjoyed this house. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It was close to Disney and very close to shopping and restaurants. It was a very good choice for us. The only negative was the situation with the pool and spa. Just be sure you have all the details about how the pool and spa work. It didn't seem to get warm enough. Thank you Jo Anne, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed the house and location! Please note, guests do not need to worry about the pool and spa setup as we set this ready for your arrival. Jo Anne stayed at the home during an especially cold Florida winter and queried the pool temperature, however it was tested twice by us as well as the pool maintenance company during her stay and despite the very cold weather, the pool was confirmed to be running at the correct heated temperature of 86 degrees.

Windsor

The location of this venue was great for a family. I was unhappy with a few things like the microwave not working, a dining chair being gone, and the couch being dirty. All were minor except it was a huge inconvenience not to have a working microwave with children. Having a bathroom in each room was likely my favorite part with a family.

Glad you liked the home but as I explained to you when I came straight out to assist you with the microwave, as you could see it was a new microwave and a power surge from an electrical storm caused it to fuse and break so it was beyond our control - a new microwave had to be ordered which could not be fitted during the last day you reported it to me. The sofas are leather and clean, you told me you found some crumbs that had fallen into a deep crease that was exposed when you sat down - we apologized but of course this could be easily missed. Just to note the home still had 11 indoor dining chairs - one more than the number of guests permitted - and a further 6 dining chairs outside!

Perfect villa!

We have just got back from a perfect 2 week stay at this beautiful villa! The villa itself is in a fabulous gated community with a lovely pool area and club house, and is ideally located for the Disney parks, shopping and a variety of restaurants. The villa itself is very well equipped, with the kitchen having everything you need if you want to self cater, a great games room in the garage and really comfortable sofas and beds! Also having an ensuite to every bedroom was ideal for our mixed age family and there was plenty of linen and towels for everyone. The one thing I want to mention, apart from the great villa, is the fantastic communication and help from Matt & Kate. From the minute we booked the villa until the day we left they were brilliant! Any questions or issues we had were replied to and handled so quickly, easily and without any stress. Thank you to you both!

Great place to stay

The house was laid out well, organized and clean. We’ve been coming for a conference annually and will definitely check back to see if this house is available. The kitchen has everything you need. The house was the cleanest of any homes we’ve rented so far. Nice pool and spa (not super warm even with the heater) and in a great little community. Super close to a grocery store and everything else In Orlando. Some possible concerns: It is close to other homes on the row so there is no backyard privacy, some hedges would be nice. You can hear your neighbors very well. The family next door had kids swimming till 11 and they were loud. There are also two trees that provide some shade to the south facing pool. Some people like the sun others do not so the abundant shade will either be a plus or negative. We would have preferred less shade in February. We would definitely come back!

Yes, unfortunately the two trees you mention have grown rapidly in the last six months - in fact, at our request the HOA are completely removing both trees (April 2018) to give unrestricted lake views and sunshine. As a family vacation resort, unfortunately some guests can be less considerate than others - it sounds as though the family staying next to you were violating the HOA rules by making noise in the pool at night and could have been reported to help put a stop to this. As with other Windsor Hills homes, the property does not have hedges, as per the property photos. The spa in the pool is not a hot tub and is heated to 97 degrees - it was a cold February this year, just call us while you are here for queries like this and we will happily check it for you. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

Awesome stay at Kate and Matt's wonderful close-to-Disney villa

We are a family of 4 (my wife and I, plus 2 grown up boys) and we spent four terrific nights in this Windsor Hills villa. This is a great place to base yourself for your Disney vacation. The villa itself is huge (5 beds – two of them Disney/Star Wars themed) with a good-sized pool, a south-facing rear aspect that gets the sun all day long, a generous pool table and gaming room in the converted garage, a well-equipped kitchen, and a great open plan design. The villa is 10 minutes from Animal Kingdom and around 15 minutes from the other Disney Parks. Having stayed in many other villas on other developments, we have not been as close to Disney as Matt and Kate’s villa is. Our communication with Kate and Matt prior to our trip and then during our trip was excellent. They are very responsive, knowledgeable and eager to help. We found the villa spotless and clearly well cleaned when we arrived, and stocked with the basics to get us going. There is a Walmart 5 minutes away and a Publix (much better for groceries) around 12 minutes away. We thoroughly recommend this villa to other Disney vacationers and we will return just as soon as we can.

Good choice!

Our group of 6 stayed here for about a week and it was exactly as the pictures showed. We felt safe in the gated neighborhood, the house was in great condition, and the communication with the owners was always helpful, positive, and they were quick to respond to messages. Just read through the description of what is provided and you’ll know exactly what to expect. There are no surprises if you read thoroughly. We had no problems with the temperature of the AC (and we were there when it was humid and well into the 90s). If you are a hot sleeper, there are fans in some of the closets. The pool was a refreshing treat at the end of a long, hot day at Disney! We didn’t have time to use the game room but it would have been the first thing we did if there was a full day of bad weather! It was nice to know it was there if needed. We had a non-Disney day and spent it at Siesta Key Beach. It’s was gorgeous, warm, and worth the 2 hour drive!! We’d stay here again if we elate in the area again!

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The owners are fantastic; very helpful. The home is very well equipped for everything. We loved the pool and spa after a long day at the parks or on our days off. The beds are so comfortable. Was so convenient to have a bathroom for every bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay at for our two week vacation with our family. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great experience, will stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental! We will definitely be staying here again in the future. So close to everything Disney, along with gift shops, restaurants, and Walmart for convenient grocery pick up so I didn’t have to spend my vacation grocery shopping! The owners were super responsive to my (many) questions. Great experience overall and we will for sure be coming back!
