The entry code was supposed to be sent to me at 4:00 pm. We arrived at 4:45 and waited for the code to arrive. We called the listed number and only got the answering machine. After another unanswered call, I messaged Sarah through VRBO to tell her that we couldn't get in. It was about 5:00 before we received her message that the email had been overlooked somehow. Then the code arrived. We entered the apartment at 5:10. We are seniors and would have appreciated knowing about the 16-plus outdoor steps before undertaking the onerous job of carrying luggage inside.Expected amenities were few or not provided...no face cloths, one hand towel, one dish towel, 3 soup bowls (the rest of the dishes were in a set of six), only one teaspoon, and no strainer for the sink. The strainer was provided after I told Sarah about it.One bedroom had a king bed, two nice end tables, a lounge, and a closet with hangers. The single room had no closet, no place to put clothes and no room for even a chair. The pictures show the kitchen pretty much as it is, but be aware there is very little cupboard top for preparing food. A wooden table is on one side to be used for prep. No chairs in the kitchen while waiting for food to cook. The eating area is very far from the kitchen.On the positive side, the bathroom is beautiful, the shower is excellent, lots of hot water is available.My suggestion is, if you are looking at a basic apartment, be aware that this one is definitely overpriced.
