ROOM 201 - RAMADA INN - 7150 N TAMIAMI TRAIL - SARASOTA FL 34243 - NEWLY REFURBISHED MAY 2014 - This is a privately-owned hotel room at A MAJOR HOTEL - Sarasota. It has a New king size bed with new 47 inch led flat screen television with full cable and HBO. Full bathroom with bath/shower. Microwave and small refrigerator. Tiki Bar nearby has great seating near the heated pool and Marina. Close to the airport and shopping/restaurants including one on premesis. NEW FURNITURE - BED - 47 INCH LED TV This is a hotel room, It is meant for short term stays. In the slower season, May thru November, longer stays may be appropriate with discounted weekly or monthly rates. PLEASE - NO SMOKING NO PETS Are ALLOWED IN THE ROOM (HOTEL POLICY - $250 PENALTY APPLIES) hotel breakfast is not available, but Crager’s restaurant next door gives a 10% discount for condo guests.

The hotel is close to the airport, clean rooms and pretty view of the boat dock, the restaurant is good to eat at on the property too, they are doing painting right now but everything is very clean

Florida vacation

The location of this property is amazing. Close to the airport & on Sarabay Marina. The Tiki Bar attached to the hotel has great food, drinks & entertainment. It is a hotel room (which is clear in the listing) so may not be ideal for some guests staying longer than a few days.

Great for a Quick Getaway

We went for a quick trip to visit relatives and this was the perfect place to stay. The price was right and the room was on the waterfront which was an added bonus. The Tiki Bar was close by and we enjoyed walking over to listen to the band. The food and drinks were great! We visit our relatives often and we will definitely be staying here every time we visit.

Had a great time at this property. Only critique is that the room needs new carpet. Otherwise it was what was expected at a great price.

Marina, Pool and Tiki Bar

We had a wonderful time at this location. If you like boats, marina waterfront and Tiki Bars, this is a great place for you. If you have a boat, easy access to the Sarasota Bay. Tarpon Bay Bar and Grill has good food, drinks and live music. Dock Master and on site contact Todd was very helpful. Gave us good information about boating on the Bay and travels by land. Would definitely come back.

Close and effective

I've stayed at this Ramada before in normal rooms and this room is WAY nicer than the average decor. Overlooking the Tiki Bar and pool can be a bit noisy but it's not bad. Overlooking the water is nice. It got the job done.

I loved the location, the hotel has cool amenities. There’s a vacation vibe, beautiful view from the room of the Marina, pool, Tiki bar and gaming through the lobby. The room was fine especially for the price. 5 star bed! Nice clean sheets, comfy pillows, comfy chair, tv that has all the streaming services. Very cold air conditioning. Only negative was a sour smell coming from the air conditioner.

Nice and not so nice

Room was nicely located on a corner overlooking boats, dock and pool but looked like an ordinary hotel room with one updated recliner chair. Would suggest adding a more homey feel. Got grossed out seeing people eating at the pool and trash left around. Too many kids!! Tiki bar had music on the weekend but lots of smokers. Probably would be nice to go when kids are in school. Pool looked tempting to go in but we wouldn’t dare after what we saw. ( no fault of Vrbo owner) Location was close to all we wanted to visit! Overall if minus the crowdedness, 9.
