We’re Nora, Marjan, and Rita—three siblings who grew up in this very house, chasing chickens, riding bikes, and dreaming big. Today, we’re thrilled to share our home and our hearts with guests from around the world.

Marjan is the explorer of the family—he’s travelled all across Europe and brings a worldly, easygoing spirit to everything he does. Rita is the healer, a dedicated nurse known and loved throughout Shkoder. She was a true hero during the COVID crisis, and to this day, the local healthcare system still calls her one of its brightest stars. And then there’s Nora—the escape child—who followed her dreams all the way to New York and has since journeyed across Asia, Europe, and Africa. She’s always searching for new places, people, and stories to bring back home.

What brings us together is our love for this house and the joy of welcoming others into it. We host because we genuinely enjoy meeting new people and helping them discover the magic of Shkoder—its lakes, mountains, food, culture, and community.

We’re here to make your stay feel easy, exciting, and filled with heart. Whether it’s sharing local tips, picking you up at the airport, or serving fresh eggs from our garden—we’ve got you covered.

When we moved here in the early 1990s, the streets were unpaved, muddy, and full of adventure. We played barefoot, shared snacks with neighbours, and made memories that still echo through every corner of this place. Today, the neighbourhood has changed—clean, paved roads now lead to cosy homes, gardens bloom behind every gate, and there’s a peaceful, welcoming energy that still feels like home.

Even with the changes, the heart of this neighbourhood remains. The same families wave from their balconies, the same kindness lives in every hello, and our childhood memories still run wild through the streets. It’s a quiet, safe, and friendly area, just 10 minutes from the centre of Shkoder—perfect for resting, exploring, and experiencing true Albanian hospitality.
