A stunning historical property in a great location. Lots of amenities for our large group and tyr boathouse and lake access were excellent Robert was a wonderful host and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Fantastic place

We had a fantastic stay at the lincoln cottage. The house was very comfortable, with the most incredible porch and view. Close to everthing too, from restaurants to shopping, to a great farmer's market we went to every day. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of those rare rentals that felt less like staying in a VRBO and more like being entrusted with a much-loved family home. The house has wonderful old-world charm—historic, beautifully refurbished, high-quality, but comfortable and lived-in in exactly the right way.It was exceptionally family friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed, the large dining table became gathering central, and there were plenty of spaces to spread out. We loved movie nights with the surround sound, and the third floor—with games and instruments—was a favorite. We took turns playing songs on the digital piano, which became one of those unexpected little memories everyone loved.The porch was the pièce de résistance: rocking chairs, a hammock, and an extraordinary lake view. We even saw a double rainbow over the lake, which made an already beautiful setting feel a little magical.The lake access was fantastic. The boathouse was perfect for our boat rental and made hopping aboard incredibly easy. We swam, paddle-boarded, floated in tubes, and our dog fetched off the rock until he could barely keep swimming. The separate fenced yard was also a huge plus.Our host was warm, experienced, responsive, and even stopped by to show us around. Five stars, easily. If this house is available for your dates, consider yourself lucky and book it.

Our host went above and beyond ensuring we were comfortable and our needs were met. The house is a beautiful historic gem with magnificent views and amenities. We will be back!

Loved the view. Gourmet kitchen was great. The place was immaculate. Manger was very helpful. The beach was great but everything else was great . We are planning on going back for 40th anniversary in a few years

Weekend getaway

Really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend with a group of friends. The house is comfortable with an amazing kitchen. Views are incredible from the main deck and the 3rd floor. Definitely would rent again!

Great location, lovely property

Very nice, large home. Kitchen is fantastic! Location on the lake is great for fantastic views and the boat house is ideally situated to make docking a boat fairly easy. Owner was incredibly helpful as well and checked in over the two weeks via text to be sure we had everything we needed.

Week on the lake

We stayed at Robert's property on lake Winnipesaukee for a week in July. It was really beautiful / relaxing. Robert had lots kitchen facilities, great for cooking for our large group.

The view!!!

The view and sunrise from Lincoln Cottage over the lake are unimaginable. There is easy access to swim, an extremely stocked kitchen and plenty of linens for large groups. The owner is fantastic to deal with and makes sure your stay is perfect!

Classic old school lake house with all the amenities you could ask for

Just a great place across the board. Music room with instruments, pool table 10 -12 burner stove porch overlooking lake, killer fireplace I could go on and on....!!

Amazing stay with friends

We stayed here with three other families for our annual ski trip. The home provided plenty of space and access to activities that kept everyone happy. The house is beautiful and the view of the lake and the mountains is spectacular. Robert was very helpful and available to answer questions and attend to any of our needs. I highly recommend this stay!!!

Spectacular lake front home with boathouse.

The Lincoln Cottage was the most equipped kitchen ever, with awesome cooking stoves and a big refrigerator. The towels, dish towels and sheets were provided. Extra pillows were available for renters. The front porch was wonderful with a hammock, rocking chairs and an eating round table. Card playing was a must at night and the view was fabulous.
