The Beach Cottage was a sweet home for us to stay at. We were welcomed by the host with a card and complimentary treats. We loved that the cottage was pet friendly and had a fence in the backyard. The upstairs loved has a great separate air conditioner. Julia was so well prepared and thought of everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was amazing. The place was clean, Julia was excellent with all communications, it was very close to a nice beach, and a short drive to NASA. Julia even went above and beyond and had a basket of snacks, decorated for my birthday, and got me a card! Amazing! This will be our first choice to stay whenever we visit the area.

Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Short walk to the beach to view beautiful sunrise. Didn’t do any cooking but used the coffee makers which functioned perfectly.

This was such a cute house with a 10 min walk to the beach with plenty of shopping within a 20 minutes car ride. There was a super cute welcome basket with goodies that did not disappoint. The deck was cute, great place to hang out with soft lighting at night. The Keurig was so nice to have and the mugs were really cute! There were tons of games stocked up to play. It was definitely a beach side cottage. The bathroom is a Jack and Jill with a big shower. The fridge was stocked and there were plenty of supplies you might need to have a good time. We were able to take our dogs which was great but they are tiny dogs and had a little trouble getting off the decking and doing their business in the tall grass. Again, super cute stay!

This is a very nice charming cottage. My daughter, sisters and aunt absolutely loved it. Very clean, comfortable and within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. I highly recommend staying here.

Julie is an amazing host! Over and beyond don’t quite express the thoughtfulness and attention to every detail that made the stay even nicer! The place is really sweet and feels like being in your own weekend house. Comfy, but not fussy or overdone. julie was SO amazing at communication, but through direct messages and in the detailed binder of notes with lots of helpful information. the neighborhood is quiet and the deer love to bed down in the yard. I am in the area throughout the year and will definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home has an older, quaint charm and was comfortable for our family. The location was a huge plus. It's an easy walk to the beach, which we loved. The host was also excellent with communication throughout our stay and was very responsive. We’d happily stay here again.

Three of us grandmothers came to stay a couple nights and brought my 5 year old granddaughter and one sweet old dog as the cottage is pet friendly, thank you. I didn't understand one of the three bedrooms is upstairs but we managed well and my granddaughter loved that. We were also very comfortable upstairs with the cold AC and comfortable bed. Good night's sleep after near full day on the beach. There is one bathroom & shower downstairs and shared between the two downstairs bedrooms. But with good friends it was no issue to access. The walk to the beach is nice. My 5 year old rode her bicycle back and forth and I walked it 3 times. So the cottage is a great pick for easy access to the water and a walk in the quiet neighborhood. The location is lovely, neighborly.The only things we missed would be more counterspace in the kitchen. A table would suffice for making sandwiches or prepping meals. We would stay at the cottage again.

El Jardin is very unique. There's a certain vibe in this community that is quite special. Maybe it's the slow pace of things, perhaps it's the nature all around. Whenever I spend time here to walk on the beach, watch the boats pass by, enjoy the sunsets, or check out the deer grazing at the end of the day, I feel relaxed and at peace.

Cozy cottage comforts and optimally located for travelers to this area. So much recreation to enjoy from Nasa Space Center to Kemah Boardwalk, Old Town Seabrook, Clear Lake (third largest boating community in the USA), nature trails and bayous to explore, plus Galveston is just 30-minutes away.
