Vacation Rental With Private Lake for Fishing

The Cabin is a two bedroom 1 bath Log Home on 10 manicured acres with a 2.5 acre fishing lake. The Cabin has a fully stock kitchen and laundry room and sleeps 5 cumfortably The 1200 square foot interior is surrounded by a covered deck and seating area. The lake is stocked with Bass, Blue Gill and Catfish. Fishing is permitted on a catch and release basis. A covered dock at the pond is electrified, hot and cold running water, refrigerator, lighting, dinning table for 6 and barbecue.

What a great get away! We so preferred this compared to a hotel in town!

Rustic retreat, so quiet and peaceful. We loved the pond and fishing. Caught my 1st large mouth Bass and Blue Gill. The resident Canada Geese were amazing, I could watch them forever. Tom was helpful with what to use for tackle.

I'm baaack!

I believe this is my 4th time to visit in the last 18 months. This place is magical. Great place to unplug and unwind. I always come with a girlfriend I have known for over 40 years. We leave the husbands at home and turn into 12 year old girls again! Wonderful to sit with coffee in the morning and listen to the silence. 100% recommend for anyone! Bistro 221 in Nevada City is a great place for a delicious lunch.

Great place to stay!!

Only problem with our stay was that we weren't able to stay longer. Laurie was great! It is very quiet and plenty of property to enjoy. Using the paddle boat and fishing are very relaxing. Thanks again Laurie! We will definitely come back soon!

Had a great time fishing.

Stayed for three nights. The property is pretty well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. There are always things to fix in a rental but nothing lessened our enjoyment except the wi-fi coverage. Really looked forward to fishing and the lake did not disappoint! We are talking about when we can plan another trip already. Thanks, Tom!

Sad condition on great location

Property has great views. Geese and cows (grass mowers) were a delight. House was dirty. Needs top to bottom cleaning, (walls, furniture, floors) by professionals. Base boards in master bedroom were FILTHY. Drawers without pulls. Random items in drawers and cabinets. Cobwebs throughout house were covered with dust. This house could be charming, but lacks cleaning. House smelled of dust and having been closed up for an extended period of time. The cleaning “service” is woefully inadequate.

Great place to stay! Mr. Moreno is a wonderful host. Not intrusive but always willing to have a short chat and share the history of the property. It's so interesting. I truly enjoy my time here and his chats.

Another fun adventure in Penn Valley

This was our 4th trip to this cabin, our stay was lovely as always. The cabin is perfect for hanging out and BBQing with our family. We were lucky to catch a few fish with our sons and continue the tradition building memories there!
