Vacation on a farm - discover and experience nature
Our new apartment is located on a 200-year-old Black Forest farm, situated in the heart of a diverse hiking and mountain biking area.
There is a horse and pony farm right across from the apartment. There, you and/or your children can take riding lessons or book rides in the surrounding forests.
At our Hierholz location, there is an idyllic little natural lake. Enjoy relaxing days here with us in this beautiful area. The apartment has a separate entrance via its own balcony.
The spacious, high-quality apartment features tile and cork floors and is ideal for families with 2–3 children, but also for couples looking to enjoy a few quiet days.
Bedding, kitchen towels, and hand towels, as well as electricity, heat, and water, are included.
Farm vacation: We haven’t had cattle or pigs since late 2012. The following animals are still on our farm: rabbits you can pet (hopefully with baby rabbits in the spring), cats, and chickens.
Across the way is a horse farm with several horses and ponies. There, you can take riding lessons or simply go for a ride in the area. I’d be happy to provide you with the contact information in advance.
Hiking vacations: We have a wide variety of hiking trails in the southern Black Forest—ranging from fairly easy routes to strenuous hikes (such as the Feldberg or Herzogenhorn). The hiking trails in Dachsberg/Ibach are well-marked and lead through forests, meadows, and pastures, from where you can enjoy wonderful views—including, at times, alpine vistas. Here you can hike away from the main roads in a peaceful and relaxing landscape. Just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We’re also happy to give you tips for various day hikes, including places to stop for refreshments. Various hiking maps are available at the apartment.
Recreation: The village of Hierholz is very quiet, with no traffic. Here, children can still run around freely and without a care in the world. But adults can also enjoy the peace and quiet here, far from the stress of everyday life.

Der Nachbar hatte leider zu der Zeit eine kleine Baustelle und war sehr beschäftigt. Grundsätzlich ist es aber schon ruhig hier.

Apartamento completo, cómodo y tranquilo
El apartamento está muy bien. Si pretendes desplazarte en coche a visitar otros sitios, éste está un poco apartado, pero para vivir la tranquilidad del lugar, es perfecto.

Magnífico lugar, apartamento grande, tiene todos los detalles, Martina es muy amable.
Estuvimos 5 dias en agosto, el apartamento cuidado y equipado al detalle, la propietaria muy amable y eficiente pues vive en la propiedad vecina. Estupenda base para visitar sur de Alemania. Solo problemas con el wi-fi (poca señal) y cobertura inexistente para el movil. Plenamente recomendable si te gusta la naturaleza.

Apartamento bien equipado y de gran confort. Lastima que el servicio wi-fi no sea el adequado
Apartamento de montaña en un lugar expléndido. Vistas asombrosas. Muy bien equipado y cuidado.El servicio de wi-fi no llega a la casa en todo momento y no es posible trabajar con internet. No deberían ofertar servicio wi-fi o bien instalar un repetidor desde la casa de los propietarios.

Wir waren 10 Tage in der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung! Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig, was für uns perfekt war. Es war alles da, was man braucht und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber.Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man so braucht. Wir haben die Ruhe in dem kleinen Schwarzwaldort Hierholz sehr genossen.

Gute Wanderungen in die nähere Umgebung möglich.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus und in der Natur genossen. An eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und an Wanderziele zu kommen, ist ohne PKW für betagte Personen schwierig.

Urlaub mit der Familie
Wir waren im April 2025 für eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und bot alles, was man so braucht. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn es um die Planung von Aktivitäten ging. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in perfekter Umgebung
Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der gemütlichen Ferienwohnung gefühlt. Sehr sauber, und netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Verzauberte Lage und die Ruhe war perfekt.
Klare Weiterempfehlung und kommen gerne wieder.

Accogliente e spaziosa casetta un po' lontano da tutto
Casa accogliente e pulita nel sud della Foresta Nera. Zona isolata e un po' lontana dai punti di interesse (laghi, escursioni..) Per ogni spostamento è necessaria la macchina.
Molto spaziosa, ma poco luminosa (si sta sempre con la luce accesa). Cucina molto grande e fornita di padelle in ottimo stato. Ci sono anche te, caffè, pasta a disposizione degli ospiti..
Ampio giardino in cui i bambini possono scorazzare liberi. Nella zona non prende internet ma in casa c'è il wi-fi. C'è anche la play station 2.
Bagno molto ampio, con fornitura abbondante di asciugamani, sapone, detersivi..
Possibilità di utilizzare il barbecue.
Proprietaria gentile, ci ha prestato una bicicletta.
Due appunti:
- il frigorifero (e il freezer) sono veramente
minuscoli. A Dashberg non c'è nemmeno un negozio e il primo supermercato dista 20 minuti in auto..ragion per cui sarebbe utile un
frigo quantomeno di dimensioni standard in cui stipare la spesa per più giorni.
- manca la lavatrice e ciò è piuttosto scomodo per chi soggiorna almeno una settimana (e magari ha dei bimbi piccoli che si sporcano
facilmente)..

Schade, dass unsere Wohnung nicht vollständig überzeugen konnte.
Der Kühlschrank hat eine übliche Größe bei Einbauküchen. Normalerweise kein Problem für unsere Gäste. Das Gefrierfach ist oben im Kühlschrank, ebenfalls normale Größe.
Die Entfernungen zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der wohnungsbeschreibung korrekt angegeben.
Wir versuchen auch immer, besondere Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen, alles ist aber verständlicherweise nicht möglich. Ich biete einen Wäscheservice gegen Gebühr an, allerdings muss man einfach mal danach fragen.
Im Übrigen haben wir diesen Gästen kostenlos ein Fahrrad und den Grill bereitgestellt. Auch nicht ganz selbstverständlich. Einen Fahrradverleih haben wir nicht und können das auch nicht generell anbieten.
Anmerken möchte ich noch, dass 99% aller Gäste die Wohnung in einem ordentlichen Zustand verlassen.
Hier war das leider nicht der Fall und die Endreinigung hat sehr viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Insbesondere aus dem letzt genannten Grund hat mich diese Bewertung etwas verärgert.

Erholsamer, ruhiger Urlaub
Die Erwartungen an unseren Urlaub wurden vollstens erfüllt. Wer Ruhe sucht zum ausspannen, ist hier genau richtig.
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für jeden der abschalten und die Seele baumeln lassen möchte sehr gut geeignet. Ob Natur oder Kultur, alles ist vor Ort. Die Vermieter geben gute Tipps und Empfehlungen. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt

Entspannung und Ruhr
Wir hatten einen schönen ruhigen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und mit dem was benötigt wird ausgestattet. Sehr nette Gastgeber.Das einzigste was wur vermisst haben war ein Verdunkelungsrollo im Schlafzimmer.
Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man Ruhe sucht.
Tolle Wanderwege in direkter Umgebung der Unterkunft.

Tolle Erholungswoche im Schwarzwald
Tolle Wohnung, sehr angenehme Vermieter, freundliche Nachbarn und sehr ruhige Lage.
Dennoch ist man schnell an sehr schönen Ausflugszielen.

Sehr geräumige Ferienwohnung in bester Lage. Alles durchdacht, sauber, gepflegt und vorhanden- perfekt für einen Urlaub mit Entspannungsgarantie. Vermieter sind sehr aufgeschlossen, freundlicher Kontakt von Anfang an. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!
