Lovely 5 bedroom, 3 full bath, family home is waterfront at the end of a quiet, no-wake slough which opens to one of the largest areas of Lake Tuscaloosa. Our private boat dock is just an easy walk, via the gradual, grassy slope, and gives easy access to the large body of water right at the end of the short slough. Your boat can be launched at the public boat launch, or at the local Marina, and then tied up at our pier. Our slough is a popular swimming area that is not too deep, and is perfect for your inflatables or stand up board.
The lakeside deck is well located for sunning and watching the kids play in the water--or relax under the lakeside gazebo.
The spacious covered decks at the house overlook the serene water views. Have dinner with a little music and great conversation. We have a gas grill on the lower patio.

NOTE: If you do instant booking for a Football weekend, there will be a $200 per night surcharge added to your reservation.

With a total of 5 bedrooms, the main level has a King bed in Master, plus 3 bedrooms with queen beds. The walk-out basement has another queen bedroom & bath plus a game room with pool table, game table, TV area and a pull out sofa. Game room opens to a large yard through french doors. A covered patio with seating, fire pit, and lake views. Five Bedrooms + 3 Baths allow for 10 adults.
**We provide a starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. If you need more toilet paper make sure you bring extra! **We provide travel size hair and body wash. If you need more toiletries please pack with you! There are restaurants nearby if you get tired of cooking. Bama parents love to stay when they come to visit their student, and there's room for extended family to come, too! We do not allow house or wedding parties, because we respect our quiet neighbors on the slough. We have tried to provide everything you could need, and our guests always love their time at our serene lake getaway.
The lake is very quiet at night, and we respect quiet hours from 9 pm to 9 am. This is a non-smoking property--inside and out. The DR table is super fun for family game nights, too! The Lake House has Ring exterior floodlight cams for your peace of mind. NOTE: We are located in a quiet, residential, family neighborhood. Please drive slowly, as children and pets live in the neighborhood, and wild deer are abundant. You may see a doe with her fawn in our backyard, or deer crossing the roads at night.
Sorry, we don't allow pets--this is our own vacation home that we love--which we share with others when we can't be there.
