Quaint Designer 2-bedroom cabin in Lake Arrowhead
The Sage Hideaway is a beautifully restored and redesigned 1945 charmer. A perfect blend of vintage character with elevated modern design, this cabin is nestled in a half acre of peaceful pines in Twin Peaks, CA. Perfect for couples or small families looking for an escape to an oasis in the trees. Enjoy nearby Lake Arrowhead Village along with area restaurants & shops. Spend the day at Skypark Village, hike the nearby trails or enjoy all the lakes have to offer.
The space:
The home was fully renovated in 2023 and designed to be a dreamy mountain oasis. It sleeps 4-5 people comfortably and is ideal for couples or a small family.
BEDROOM 1: The main level bedroom features a luxurious queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. The closet contains plenty of shelving and hangers along with a washer/dryer.
BEDROOM 2: The upstairs loft bedroom features one full-size bed and one twin bed. Both mattresses are memory foam for your ultimate comfort. There is a skylight above the full bed for star gazing and waking up to a view of the towering pine trees. There is also a desk in this space for your work-from-home needs.
KITCHEN: Updated appliances and everything you need to cook a great meal. There is a Keurig coffee maker, French press and electric kettle for coffee or tea. Coffee pods, tea bags, olive oil, salt and pepper provided.
LIVING ROOM: Featuring a cozy gas fireplace, a Smart TV with all your favorite apps, Sonos sound system, Crosley record player with a collection of vintage vinyl records and plenty of board games to keep the entire family entertained.
BATHROOM: Main level bathroom has been renovated with an eye-catching design, Shower essentials are provided (shampoo, conditioner and body wash).
FRONT DECK: Features a propane BBQ for your grilling needs, a bistro table and plenty of seating around a gas fire pit for relaxing under the stars and string lights.
PARKING: Driveway parking is for one car ONLY. Please let us know if you need to bring an additional vehicle and we may be able to accommodate.
PET FRIENDLY: One well behaved and house trained dog is permitted but they must be added to the reservation. Please bring all pet supplies and kindly clean up after them. We ask that your fur baby stays off the furniture, but if they must come up please bring a blanket or use our provided pet blanket. Please do not leave the dog unattended at the cabin at any time (unless crated). Sorry, no cats.

Guest must be 21+ years old to book per San Bernardino County regulations.
No smoking of any kind on the property as we are surrounded by forest in a high fire designated area.
Please note there are about 20 steps from the parking stall to the front door of the house.
SUMMER SEASON: Like most older cabins in the mountains, there is no central air conditioning. During summer heat waves we encourage guests to close windows and shades during late morning and open them at night to keep cooler air circulating. We also provide tall oscillating fans for each bedroom.
WINTER & SNOW SEASON: The California Highway Patrol/CalTrans requires tire chains for passenger vehicles during winter weather conditions. There may be signs posted and personnel at chain control check. points as you drive up the mountain. At times, all vehicles (including four wheel or all wheel drive) must carry tire chains upon entering a chain control area. While we make every effort to accommodate guests, if roads are open and you cannot make it to the cabin, cancellation refunds cannot be issued.
If there is substantial snowfall, we will clear the parking stall and a path to the front door before your arrival. Please note that snow may accumulate after the initial clearing. While we don't offer shoveling services during your stay, shovels and de-icing salt are available for your use. If you need snow clearing assistance please reach out and we can organize help for an additional fee.
