Relax with the whole family at our newly remodeled home with modern finishes in a secluded country setting. Just minutes from the distilleries, downtown Bardstown, Taylorsville Lake, Keeneland, Lexington, Churchill Downs and Louisville makes this the perfect location for enjoying some of the best that KY has to offer.

After a long day of tours and tastings come soak in the hot tub or sit around the fire enjoying the hilltop country views.
Our pet rules:
Only dogs without prior approval.
There is a fee per dog, and we only allow up to two dogs unless requested.
Excessive pet hair, odors, stains, or other conditions requiring additional cleaning beyond the standard turnover will result in additional charge.

Absolutely beautiful setting.The house was perfect and above our expectations! The pool was the highlight for all.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful family get away from everyone.

Our communication with Emmy was always prompt and she addressed our questions. The outside area with pool and hot tub, also fire pit was a great diversion after a day of bourbon tasting. Inside was very modern with rain head showers in the bathroom.

The property was amazing. The house had everything we needed to stay put and enjoy ourselves for an extended time period. Cooking was a breeze with all of the modern amenities; the extra ice machine was a wonderful surprise!! The bedrooms were comfy and cozy and having 4 full bathrooms with beautiful showers was just what we needed. The pool…the pool was AMAZING!!! The tanning ledge was a fantastic surprise and was enjoyed by everyone, especially our toddler! The views of the Kentucky hills and farmland were beautiful. This place was seriously above and beyond our expectations; the owners thought of everything that visitors would need or want. We can’t wait to go back!

This home is beautiful. It exceeded what we expected. We had a great time. It is secluded and on top of a hill as stated - so recommend arriving to home before dark.

This was a great place. Would definitely book again and encourage anyone looking to be on the bourbon trail to check this house out. The layout is perfect. The kitchen amenities are great. The views are amazing of all the wildlife in your backyard. A definite 10 out of 10.

All I can say is wow!!!! This house was amazing. If you are looking for a space to get away and relax with the family/friends this is the place hands down. Located in the heart of bourbon country, and close to bourbon tours all around. this house offers great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and has many features and amenities, about a 50 min from Louisville and Lexington. I’m not giving 5 stars because that’s all it would let me do… I would give 10 stars if I could. Our family loved it so much we are going to rent again this summer for another family outing. Outstanding host!!!! Very responsive and just a phone call away if needed. Thanks a million for having us… we absolutely loved it…

This house is absolutely stunning and impeccable. It’s beautiful, modern, and every little touch has been thought of.Communication with Emmy was always quick and informative. I only have two suggestions….The first would to be sure that everything is in working order and ready to go upon arrival. We enjoyed the pool the first evening and wanted to use the hot tub - but it needed to be cleaned. It WAS promptly cleaned on day 2, but unfortunately it rained the last two nights and we were only able to use the outdoor amenities on night 1.Also regarding the rain, upon arrival we realized the house was up on a hill and surrounded by a river/stream. There were several road signs warning of potential flooding.It DID rain hard during our last night and morning causing a flash flood - swiftly covering the end of the drive and the road out - so we were stuck there until the water subsided. We WERE concerned we might not get out that day, but the water did subside enough a couple of hours later, for our large SUV to make it over. I would just suggest this possibility be mentioned in the listing as I don’t remember reading anything about this being a concern.Overall - the house was beautiful - Emmy was very communicative - and I would recommend this house. Just hopefully minus the storms and flooding!
