Beautiful cabin, AC worked great, and the location is very private. The composting toilet is something you have to get used to, but it worked well and there was no smell. All of the amenities worked great, but it is out in the woods, so be cautious of spiders. If I hadn't have had someone pint out the giant spider and web when we arrived, I would've walked straight into it. The spider had rebuilt it's web along the entry path by the next morning and I had to knock it down again. Due to the heat, lack of rain, and tons of insects, we were unable to use the fire pit and outdoor areas, but they were well maintained and lovely. There is very little phone signal, so bring dvds to watch or offline entertainment if needed. There is a TV and dvd player, and I was able to get Hotspot working partially to connect to streaming services, but they never worked great. Overall, despite this things to be aware of, we had a great stay, loved the design, and loved being secluded. Reach out to the owners for a drawn map of the roads because at night it was very confusing to find in the little trails that lead to it. I highly recommend arriving before the sun goes down.
