Waterfront cottage on beautiful Brackley Bay

Looking for a relaxing vacation home where you can unwind? Imagine yourself soaking in an outdoor hot tub or curling up on the sofa with a book in hand as you overlook the Brackley Bay on Prince Edward Island’s North Shore…

Welcome to Dunes Drift Cottage - a licensed Tourism PEI operator (license no. 2202728). Allow yourself to drift away in our cozy 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom single level summer home. Whether this is your first visit to beautiful Prince Edward Island or you’re a returning guest, we want to ensure your stay meets, and exceeds, your expectations!

The cottage is located 15 minutes from the Charlottetown Airport and minutes away from Brackley Beach and Ross Lane beach in Prince Edward Island's National Park (complimentary park permit and beach gear provided). Access to Brackley Bay (ideal for kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing, or bird watching). Tandem kayak and life jackets are provided for your use. For the golf lovers, there are many picturesque golf courses nearby. PEI is home to over 30 golf courses to fit every skill level.

The house was very well stocked with the supplies, the owners thought of everything. I give them top marks. Beautiful location on Brackley Bay, we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Location is perfect, 15-20 minutes away from the airport, 5 minutes away from the PEI National Park, about 30 minutes from the Green Gables Heritage Place. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location for enjoying Prince Edward Island National Park and the Confederation Rail Trail. Attractive decor and comfortable furnishings with spectacular water (and sunrise) views. Well supplied kitchen made meal preparation easy. Many little extra touches like a snack basket and beach supplies. All topped off with evening hot tub time! A delightful stay at Dunes Drift!

We loved the location near Brackley beach and waking up to the sunrises on the bay! The cottage had everything we needed and more. The tv was not a Smart tv which would have made a difference for the evenings and/ or better game selection ( of course these are small quibbles). It truly was a perfect place to stay!!

Prairie meets the sea

We loved the location! When you come from the prairies and are land locked it is so amazing to see and hear the tranquility of the water. Beautiful and relaxing, quiet neighborhood.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. House was well stocked with cooking needs and beach needs.Rooms were very spacious and clean. Very comfortable sleeping with air.Wifi and tvs ran well also. Good for watching the Blue Jays.A very peaceful neighbourhood to sit and relax on back deck. We even got a close up of a bald eagle on rocks at end of property.We were very happy with our stay.

Great Location and Lovely Home

My mom wanted to see the setting of Anne of Green Gables, and this home provided us with the perfect location. It was a short drive to the LM Montgomery sites, and the close proximity to the beach gave us the opportunity to also have some relaxation and fun in the sun. The house had everything we needed, and the hosts communicated with us throughout our stay. There’s lots to see and do in this area, and this home which is only about a 20 min drive from the airport was the perfect place to stay for our adventures.

Wonderful return visit

Our recent stay at this cottage was just as wonderful as the first! The beautiful water view from the cottage, the cleanliness and well-equipped amenities make for a perfect vacation spot. We highly recommend it and hope to visit again!

A Beautiful Home!

We had an amazing time staying at Dunes Drift. Everything was perfect: lots of comfy and beautifully finished spaces to spread out and enjoy the sunsets over Brackley Bay and the kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to cook our meals!

Perfectly located for beach days, and has everything you may need for your stay. Sheila was a wonderful host and communication was great. Will definitely be looking into a repeat rental next time we're on the island!

Hot tub was awesome. Overlooks the water and is easy to maintain. Very clean and had everything we could need on our trip. Very quick responses from the host.

Week away

We had a great time staying here. The house was exactly as pictured and the view was great. The home had everything we needed and even a welcome basket which was so nice. We were a group of 3 couples and there was enough seating and dishes for all. Loved our stay and will be back
