A beautiful getaway! I only wish we could have spent more time there. We were up for a wedding so didn’t get to enjoy the beauty of it as much as we would have liked.

Property was very clean with plenty of bedding and towels available. Host (Ericka) was excellent in communicating and responds quickly. Allowing pets and having the hot tub is a great asset. Very quiet location, ideal for a getaway location to get away from it all. We would recommend Bluebird Chalet.Lee

The cabin is a magical escape near many outdoor winter activities, it's great if that the type of thing you're into!

Gorgeous, secluded but not far from Salmon Arm

This chalet and it's grounds are beautiful and peaceful! They need to update their picture because the lawn around the chalet is perfectly manicured and idyllic :)

A beautiful quiet get away

Exactly what we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. To only hear the sounds of nature was so relaxing. Such a private cool place we really enjoyed the family time. Thank you 😊

Perfect peaceful holiday

We loved this place! It was the perfect holiday to relax and getaway from it all. There is no T.V. or internet and very limited cell service, which is a bonus when you want to unplug and spend some quality time as a family. The hot tub and fire pit were the cherries on top. Beautiful property and very friendly owners.

Wonderful family getaway

Our family of 5 had a fantastic time at Chalet #2. The kids loved the birdhouse, dinners outside watching the chipmunks and birds, having late night hot tubs, and playing in the yard. Watching the stars at night was definitely a highlight. The decor is lovely and Ericka has provided all that is needed for a lovely stay. Hoping to come back soon!

Peaceful getaway

Nice cabin nestled in the woods. Very peaceful and private setting. Highly recommended to go and detach from life and the stress of the real world. Lay back and enjoy nothing but peace and quiet!

Family Vacation

Our stay at chalet two was wonderful. I'm so glad we were able to find this gem. The chalet was cozy, warm, and the location was absolutely stunning. Our host Ericka was very responsive and when asked, gave us suggestions on what to do while we were there (we ended up visiting everywhere on the list). If your planning a trip to or near Salmon Arm, we highly recommend booking your stay at Bluebird Chalet!

We were 2 couples that stayed at Bluebird chalet #2 in early March 2026. There wasnt much snow at the Chalet but just a few kilometers away at the Larch Hills Nordic centre the snow was quite good for skiing. The chalet was very comfortable including the beds. We cooked all of our meals and I dont remember the kitchen lacking for any cookware or utensils. Loved the covered hot tub and using the woodstove. Chalet #2 is located along a long driveway that is a bit steep so in winter visitors might need to have appropriate tires or 4 wheel drive if icey? I think small children would love sleeping in the birdhouse but it is close to the kitchen and livingroom so the adults talking nearby could be an issue? I would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and quiet

My hubby and I spent our 25th anniversary here. It was exactly what we were looking for, super private and very quiet. There was no fireban yet so we were able to enjoy a fire every night. The chalet had everything we needed. The host was great, she even brought us a battery right away when the smoke detector started to chirp. There are lots of mosquitoes, but a little bug spray and a nice fire helps to keep them away. All in all I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing quiet vacation away.

September Serenity

Delightful to arrive. The beauty of the property, the warmth of the chalet interior decor, the south facing full of windows to watch the light play in the forest. A crackling fire in the rainy evening was so very soothing. Silence. A beautiful gift from a city life that is full of traffic, sirens, multi-condo living. Depressing to have to come home. Looking foreard to a longer stay next year.

Very nice

Very nice has lots of amenities and space inside. Mattress was on the softer side but other than that it was cosy.

Gorgeous & Secluded Get-a-away

Loved this please! It is so secluded, you are literally in the mountains. Cell service was limited, which was nice. Highly recommended!
