The host was so helpful and communicative. The accommodations had so much room on both the main and upper level. Lots of bedrooms plus gathering spaces for a large group in two places. We saw a lot of nature on the property. Kitchen was fabulous. Stay at this house also included access to a sanctuary… private property among a river about a mile away. So beautiful and all ages found fun things to do there. The stay was perfect,

This place was so great. The communication with the host was excellent. Anything we needed or any questions we asked he was quick to respond. The ducks were amazing. The turkeys were amazing. We saw an owl two hawks with Nest. We saw deer the last day. It was so much fun we celebrated great grandpa‘s 89th birthday and my daughter’s 37th birthday and it was great. We hardly left the property. There was so much to do and so much fun. We will be back. Four days was not long enough.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Lava Family Inn. Joel and family are awesome to work with, very responsive and welcoming. The space is fantastic for our big family and we spent some time at the sanctuary this time around. The kids loved feeding the ducks, playing outside and all of the toys and games inside.
