Come and spoil yourselves at this Historic House in the midst of the North Fork.
Lots of original details with modern updates.
The House is full of charm! You would love it!
High ceilings, wood plank floors, built in bookshelves, original stairwell. lots of windows,- complimented by high end amenities like Subzero refrigerator, Viking stove, Miele dishwasher.
The main floor consists of Open kitchen to the living room with wood burning fire place, and sitting room with a grand piano. To the side, there is a large room featuring a Dining table, 2nd kitchen, and den with sofa and gas fireplace.
2nd floor has 6 bedrooms
The property is close to Greenport, and other well known towns filled with fun restaurants, wineries, walk by the beach, and more.
This house is perfect for family gatherings, celebrations, reunions, and more.

Great stay! Multiple sitting areas and 2 kitchens are great for large family gatherings. Huge lawn also.

Great place to stay! The house was clean and exactly as described. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great too. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The house was perfect for our girls winery weekend. The check-in process was great and the house met all our needs. The pool, the hot tub, beautiful grounds and the location was great for visiting the wineries and Greenport. We will definitely rent this house again.

This is a lovely home - spacious inside and out. The yard, outdoor dining area, pool, and hot tub were absolutely fantastic. The home is clean and in very good condition. A great home for families with the three smaller rooms with twin beds - two of which connect to two larger bedrooms. The a/c works super well and the home is very comfortable - just to note the upstairs unit is in the hallway so you can’t control the temp in individual rooms. The bedrooms have windows above the doors so you can close the doors and still get a/c into the rooms through the open window. Andrew was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, excellent!

This was the cleanest home rental I have ever stayed in. The house is bright, airy, and very well-equipped, but with tons of charm and character. Tons of large open space, but also lots of cozy spaces for gathering. The kitchen is chef-grade. The owner was incredibly communicative, responsive, and accommodating both leading up to our stay, as well as during. I hope to come back and stay here again!

I was not happy that they took a lot of my private stock of firewood to burn, both in the house and in the backyard, after specifically instructing them not to do so. (I had left an ample supply in the fireplace and asked that they not take more than a few additional pieces.) But my biggest disappointment was how they took it upon themselves to move and rearrange heavy pieces of furniture from one room to another, leaving me alone to figure out how to move it all back. Lastly, the cleaning crew and I did not find the white stones from the yard placed strategically around the house on the windowsills, etc. very normal.

Beautiful home, well maintained, very clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 9. Lovely touches everywhere and an enviable book collection at our disposal. We did have some misunderstanding due to the VRBO stated policy “service animals and emotional support animals are not considered pets”. Although Andrew did check “no pets”, two of his reviews mentioned pets on the property. He first denied that there were guests with pets, then stated they must have been old reviews. They were from 2022, not so very long ago, I think. They should have been removed or explained in lieu of his changed policy. We did bring a 15 year old family member who is autistic and has an emotional support dog. Both Andrew and I called VRBO for policy clarification. While I was on the phone waiting for a supervisor, Andrew loudly voiced his impatience and angrily threatened to leave the premises without resolution. Because VRBO did not orally stand by their website statement we settled on a 200 pet fee for our non shedding, well behaved dog.Unfortunately, we had a second issue when we explained that we were hoping for one additional family member to come by to join us for a short period of time perhaps overnite perhaps not, and one additional family member coming by who would not be staying overnite. Andrew stated that his fee for additional guests, whether overnite or not, would be 187 per person which he reduced to 50per. I never encountered this before.

Thank you for your review. If I may clarify some points, you did rent our main house and not the pool house. Whatever reviews you read from years ago that included a pet, were for people that stayed in the pool house and not the main house. VRBO does not allow owners to delete past reviews. But letting an owner know 30 minutes before you arrive that you plan on bringing a dog and potentially several people for more than one day, whether they’re sleeping over or not, is not something I think any owner would agree to. My property description clearly states no pets allowed, and that is known to everyone before they decide whether they would like to stay or not, if they read it. The VRBO support agent did inform you within the first five minutes that I did not even have to check you in with a dog, and you would not be entitled to any refund. So all things considered, I think we both made the best of the situation. I do wish that you didn’t spend over an hour in my driveway, talking with customer support though. You’re right, that did make me impatient!

Rented the cottage for my wife, 1.5 year old, and myself, Andrew was fantastic and easy to get in contact with for all questions/concerns. The cottage, grounds, pool, and hot tub are well maintained and we had a great experience overall. Will be planning another stay here!

This was a beautiful property to stay at! The pool and hot tub were fantastic. The location is great near all of the wineries and everything you could need it is a short distance away. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

Great property!! We had a private pool, hot tub, little eating area outside with a hammock, and a small kitchen upstairs. The space was perfect for me and my friends for a weekend getaway. It’s close to several wineries as well. Andrew is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!!

Far more than we expected

Property offered a perfect stay... from the beautiful pool and hot tub to the fire pit and Barbecue. House was far more than adequate and we left wanting to return.

Beautiful Property on the North Fork

My family and I had a great stay at this property. It is in a great location, convenient to a lot of North Fork attractions, and the pool and grounds were beautiful. The host made check-in easy and was flexible about us arriving a little early.
