The location just can’t be beat on this one. Located on the edge of a beautiful lake with upscale houses surrounding the rest of the lake, and extremely close to incredible beach access. The property is especially ideal for multiple families, as there are two separate but complete living spaces in the same house.

Our family spent Thanksgiving here! Wonderful place that was spacious, clean and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Chandler with RealJoy was a pleasure to deal with. Super easy check-in and check-out process.

Excellent property; however, attention must be given replacing broken blinds and fixing the 23A digital lock and 23B patio lock. If your plans call for grilling, highly recommend choosing a different property because the community grills are a distance from the property and are ill equipped for grilling—located in the parking area with no lights, seating, or tables to accommodate grilling outside.

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Destiny Beach Villas #23A&B- Beachy Keen served you well. We appreciate you letting us know about the broken blinds and the 23A digital lock and 23B patio lock — maintenance has been notified and we’ll have those addressed promptly. Thanks also for the feedback about the community grills; we’ll share this with the association and update the listing so future guests can plan accordingly. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again. RealJoy Destin

This property needs some work. Multiple blinds were broken, windows clouded up due to broken seals, rusted bathtubs, furniture in desperate need of replacement. Microwave broken upstairs. Spiderwebs throughout the inside. Carpet on stairs worn and unsightly. Patio furniture needed to be cleaned. Broken chairs on upper back deck and front upper deck. Door knobs practically falling off and the front door locks were horrible. Pictures online must have been taken a long time ago as this property is not as pictured. Walk to the beach was advertised as 300 steps- it was more like several thousand. Quite misleading. We had a wonderful time in Destin and this location was great, but the house was not as pictured and as it was, not worth the price. Kinda disappointing. The view was wonderful and the turtles in the back lake were one of the highlights.

Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely consider booking this property again. The location was excellent, with easy beach access right across the street. We also enjoyed the beautiful lake views each morning, relaxing by the pool, watching the turtles, and meeting some very friendly neighbors. It was the perfect place for our group to spend time together. The only area that needs improvement is the cleaning. The towels did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, the patio furniture could have been wiped down better, there were bugs in the window tracks, and some trash from a previous guest had been left behind. I contacted the host, and they responded promptly with excellent communication, which I truly appreciated.Overall, I would rate our stay 8.5 out of 10. The property itself is wonderful, and with more attention to detail from the cleaning crew, it would easily be a 10 out of 10. Despite the cleaning issues, we had a fantastic time and would happily stay here again.
