The large home was perfect for our family reunion. The air conditioning was very welcomed as it was quite hot outside during our stay. Billy responded quickly with answers to our questions.

Our family gather for a reunion on sorts. The house accommodated us well. We enjoyed the common spaces. The construction on the property is extensive and limits the use of the outdoor areas including the patio. Our host was always responsive and accommodating. Thank you.

Beautiful old house with a lot of history, but photos did not include the construction that is happening on the property, Kitchen was not fully stocked or well cleaned, Play ground set does not exist, landscaping unkept, fountain with stagnant water, nonworking smoke detectors, stinging insects in the house, water on floor due to a leaking refrigerator, lack of privacy due to several rentals on the property, air conditioning worked well once we cleaned the filters, there was a broken window with exposed glass above the bed in our room.I did contact the owner and his response was he would refund the remaining days but we (10 if us) had to leave within 2 hours. We stayed. I have reached out to the owner again in hopes that he will take care of these issues for future renters.

The house was great for our groups’ needs. Plenty of room and easy to get to. Had some problems with the heating. Some rooms were great, some too cold and others too hot. But overall it was great.

Great place for board games

I stayed at Acadia Farms for a weekend 9f gaming with friends. There was plenty of table space for board games. The size was perfect foe our group.

Excellent place to stay!

The house has been restored and just perfect for a large family. Plenty of fun things for the children to see; horses, chickens, lambs and peacocks. The house really is the jewel of the property. You don't want to miss staying here.

Huge property. Great for our group of 13 work colleagues to gather for a retreat and relax outside of work. Loved the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and so much space to spread out. Looking forward to staying again!!

The listing didn't indicate that the entire property was under construction outdoors and there would be heavy equipment running during our stay. Additionally, we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat off and the entire house was very hot despite opening all the windows. The listing didn't accurately depict what we were expecting.

Great place for family gathering

We were in Ohio for a family wedding and needed a place to accommodate extended family. Acadia Farms was perfect! With 11 adults, everyone had their own room. Common rooms are spacious and enabled us to hang out together and the house was big enough that one could find a quiet spot when needed. Everyone loved the historic nature of the house as well. I would highly recommend!

Staff retreat

It’s a beautiful old home with lots of antiques. We held our first staff retreat here and it fit all our needs. We were also able to eat outside in this beautiful November weather walking to see the animals was a real treat. There was ample room for the entire staff to sleep comfortably. We were able to have major restaurants deliver our meals.

Family Thanksgiving

It was perfect for us! I drove up from VA, My son and family drove up from MD, my daughter and family drove over from Indianapolis, and my kids' mom flew in from Myrtle Beach. So, there were 13 of us and 2 Golden Doodles! The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us! The space was awesome as was the kitchen, butler's pantry, and dining room! We could all fit at the dining room table! We had a great 4 days there!

Awesome stay

Everything looked as in the pictures. Everything was just beautiful, beautiful and I will book again I do not give reviews and I just felt I had to give them one of the best reviews because everything was just as it was pictured. It was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The communication and everything that was it was just beautiful, especially for the reason that we were there so I appreciate it. It was beautiful and I will rent it again. My only future request is that we’re allowed to open up some of the windows to let in fresh air and I look forward to staying with you in the feature

The inside of the house is amazing!! Rooms are cozy. Anything you might need is there. It is big enough for a large group. I wasn’t expecting construction in the backyard. When we arrived there were landscapers working on trimming trees and their truck was blocking the front entrance. Other than that it was perfect! I experienced something with the host that I had not with other hosts. It worked out ok in the end but want to give others a heads up. You do not pay for the rental through VRBO. I thought I paid when I booked but was only charged for the service fee that day. I did not realize this until the host reached out to me and said he may have to cancel the reservation without payment. Again, it all worked out in the end but want to let other renters know.
