This was a very comfortable place to spend as a base for a few days exploring the Orange region. It had all the amenities you need and plenty of parking out the front. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Bathroom light too dim. No drainage tray for washup of dishes. Storage containers would be useful. Knives are blunt. Kitchen stools are noisy. Top tray kn dishwasher came off & the roller wheels were found to be rusty & broken. Proximity to ahops was excellent.

Beautiful property in a great location

The property had all the charm of Orange’s renowned heritage buildings with all the modern conveniences you need. Plenty of room for our family of 3, especially the kitchen/dining area. It was lovely to see the history on the kitchen brick wall, with the old hearth outline visible. It is pretty central without being smack bang in the middle of the busy town centre, but also without walking distance to plenty of eateries/cafes. Communication with the owner was excellent. If and when we come back to Orange, I’ll definitely be booking here!

Perfect for a short break

Our family of five stayed over Christmas - it was a gorgeous little house with everything we needed and was cheaper than getting two motel rooms. This would be an ideal place for a short or long stay because it has laundry facilities, full size fridge (which was great over Christmas) and enough room for 5 or 6 people. Only negative was that the weather was hot and the air con in the bedrooms was not great. Fans or being able to open windows would have been great. Lovely beds, furnishings and finishing touches - great house.

Lovely Cottage with terrific rear extension

Excellent cottage Pity nothing was in garden to front and back to further enhance property, Empty pots with half dead plant doesn't work ! The road now however is today used by very large semi trailers by passing main street, Very noisy

Good but should be better.

There is much to like about this property but there are some small maintenance and facilities issues that require attention. Bathroom: Vanity sink has drainage problems. Room lighting is poor due to insects and possible dull light bulb. Kitchen: Requires a small saucepan and a washup utensils drying rack Bedrooms: Limited space for guests clothing, personal items and luggage
